Had the honor of joining @clubambitionpodcast, arguably one of the biggest podcasts and YouTube channels in Rhode Island.

Huge thanks to Victor and the entire crew—I had a blast! Hearing Victor call me an OG podcaster who helped pave the way for Rhode Island’s podcast scene was incredibly validating.

I started @letschatpodcast in 2013 and hosted and self produced 250+ episodes over a decade. Let’s Chat! lead to so many opportunities and changed the trajectory of my life.

I’ve always thought of podcasting like the punk scene I grew up in: the bands that don’t blow up, but inspire the next generation of bands that become huge.

After ending the show I hoped that’s what the legacy would be—and hearing Victor say that meant more than he probably realized.

Thank you, @itsavibe and the entire Club Ambition crew, for everything you do to support the RI podcast scene.

Good time seeing some pals at the @pvdmonthly 30th anniversary party. I don’t write for Providence monthly anymore but I had a lot of fun getting free food and then writing about how people should go eat said food. Perfect job for me.

Had the best time guesting on @funbearablepod! The episode will drop on November 12th.

This episode really turned into love fest that has had me reflecting about everything that has changed since starting a Let’s Chat! with Chris Revill in 2013.

Back in 2016, @rimonthly wrote a story titled “five podcast that aren’t CRIMETOWN” that @letschatpodcast and Chuck had and Brad podcast were featured in. This led to our introduction and would lead to the next nine years of collaboration and guessing various podcast together.

Back then, we were all still working “normal” jobs. Chuck was the first person I knew who turned podcasting into a career, followed by Brad.

Hosting our various podcast, left to so many opportunities within the podcast space beyond

It’s never been lost on me and I was able to leave my job at @butlerhospitalri post pandemic and take my hobby and turn it into a career.

The Rhode Island creative/podcast scene is something really special—it’s amazing to look back, reflect, and see how much we’ve grown while continuing to lift each other up.

Big shout out to our producer @jmack2o23 for putting together some awesome behind-the-scenes footage from our latest @heyrhody podcast episode with @dougkeycomedy.

As you may have guessed this is what all podcast recordings with me are like, the producers work hard and I chat with anybody that will listen 😂

We recorded this episode at the @quahogcreative studios, you never know who you’ll run into at the studio.

Feeling grateful for all these great people I've met through podcasting, and we sometimes carve out time for some quality hangs

On February 13, 2020, I recorded the last two in-person episodes of Let’s Chat! with Chris Revill before everything shut down. It all went down at the old LitArts RI studio in downtown Providence.

First up was Carl Byrd, host of Code X Prime, Rhode Island’s longest-running podcast (still going strong!). Then, I sat down with Matt and Tony from What Did We Miss. Later, I even guested on their show to talk about Sunny Day Real Estate—a band I still credit them for introducing me to.

Somehow, five years ago feels like both yesterday and a lifetime ago.
