Brittany came to life yesterday at Let’s Eat 🇫🇷🥞

Whisks flying, hands busy, kitchen full of energy — this is exactly why I love hosting these workshops. C’est complet (sold out) doesn’t even begin to describe how full that room was with joy.

Merci to everyone who joined, and to Let’s Eat for having me!

Whitney Hazelmyer has spent 22 years in professional kitchens, from high-end hospitality to co-founding Let’s Eat Austin Culinary Courses.

She sat down on the OysterLink Podcast to talk about what that journey actually looks like, and what she wishes more aspiring chefs understood before they start.

Her best advice? Combine real education with real kitchen experience. Both will make you a better chef than either one alone.

Follow @oysterlink for real conversations with the chefs, operators and educators shaping the hospitality industry.

The next lovely couple we’re excited to feature on our blog is Morgan and Sean, who tied the knot last August.

Morgan and Sean had to pivot last minute when their original venue cancelled. They brought all their booked vendors with them and seamlessly transitioned their ceremony to Hudson Bend Ranch.

We’re obsessed with their gorgeous photos taken across all the spaces at the ranch!

Take a look at the link in our bio 🔗

I feel very happy, lucky and grateful to co-own and co-operate a local business here in Austin, Texas 🌶️ don’t you, @whitneydoes ?
We at @letseataustin have been truckin’ along for several years and will be making some changes coming up in 2026. Suffice it to say, hold onto your butts 🎈
Y’all ready for this??
