Ya'll! August was FULL of adventure, connection and getaways.
What a FULL life!!

The last weekend in August was spent on the 30A in Santa Rosa Beach with 12 beautiful women at a beach house. We celebrated @jevernaking and @stacynaquin ’s birthday but it was really just an excuse to connect, relax and celebrate. I was the newbie to the group and, let me tell you, these women know how to celebrate! <3   We relaxed, enjoyed meals together, took a double-decker pontoon out to Crab Island for the day, chilled on the beach, were catered to by a personal chef (thank you, Bryan and Stacy!), had many many beautiful conversations, celebrated each other and laughed together. What a joy!

Don’t underestimate connection. It’s SO important! Several women who were part of this weekend said they had never done anything like this before. Maybe you don’t have a group of friends to do this with… so how about creating it? I remember year’s ago when I was wanting to attend a women’s retreat but just couldn’t find what I was looking for (BTW I’m sure something was out there, I just didn’t know how to find it!) and Holy Spirit challenged me by saying, “Create what you’re looking for.” Maybe the first step to changing your world is to create the things you’re wanting? Create what you’re looking for? Be the friend you want to find. Create the event you want to attend. Write the book you want to read. Sing the song you want sung over you. BE the change!

After 15 years of infertility, Mother’s Day feels different in the most joyful, beautiful way. 🥹

Not because it’s perfect. Not because motherhood is easy. But because I know what it feels like to ache for this.

This year, my favorite gifts looked like sandy toes, chunky tan lines, little buck teeth, sparkling eyes, salty air, and a napping baby while I sat with Jesus and listened to the waves.

Fifteen years taught me something I’ll never forget: the promise fulfilled is sweeter the longer you have to wait.

To the woman celebrating the promises of God she gets to hold daily, I’m celebrating with you.

To the woman grieving, waiting, longing, or wondering if your turn will ever come, I see you too. I have been you.

Refuse to give up. Keep knocking on doors. Get your hopes up again.

Hope is never wasted. 🤍

I’m never getting over the joyful faithfulness of God.

Happy Mother’s Day to the mamas and the strong, hopeful mamas to be.

He will ALWAYS show up.
