From an idea on Thread to all of this in two years! Two years. Countless miles. Constant growth. 🏃🏾‍♂️🌱🏾
Turns out the fastest way to grow is to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Happy 2 years, @letsgetactivecolasc Still running. Still growing. Still active.

Wednesdays spirit run was a success, such a vibe. People can from all over. Walkers, runners, first timers. Shout out to @madmilesrunclub for pulling up!

WE GOT THEM LGA BADDIE CHAINS LAST NIGHT‼️🔥

Two years ago, I randomly came across LGA on Instagram Threads. 🥹

I had never been an athlete. I had never considered myself a runner. Honestly, I had never really done anything like this before.

But I remember thinking, “Hey…why not give it a shot?”

And here I am, two years later—with a 50+ check-in medal around my neck, miles under my feet, and memories I never could have imagined making. 🥹🏅🏃🏾‍♀️

LGA has challenged me to do things I never thought I could do. I’ve run when I didn’t feel like running. I’ve pushed through moments when I wanted to quit. I’ve celebrated milestones I never thought would be mine.

But more than anything, I’m grateful for the people.

For the friendships.
For the encouragement.
For the laughs, the events, the miles, and the memories.
For the community that has become family.

And I’m grateful that I’ve gotten the opportunity to not only grow with LGA, but to play a small part in helping this community grow too.

I joined because I figured, “Why not?”

Two years later, I’m so glad I did. 🧡

Here’s to the miles I’ve already put in, the ones still ahead, and everything this journey has taught me along the way.

50+ and still showing up. 🏅🧡

Built with love. Carried by community. 🧡🩵

Co-founding LGA has been one of the sweetest reminders that no vision grows alone. Thank you to everyone who poured into the mission and helped make Runcoming ’26 so special.
