POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thursday night was all about FAMILY, FUN, and ENERGY! We were thrilled to welcome Coach Ryan from Let’s Grow Sports, who joined us for Catholic Schools Week and led our basketball camp this summer. Our SJR families showed up in their spirit wear and brought the energy as we kicked off the school year together!

Coach Ryan reminded us of an important message: We each create our own energy, and our energy can shape how we feel. MOTION CREATES EMOTION! Moving our bodies can change our mindset, lift our spirits, and help us feel our best!

Coach Ryan’s challenge to us? Celebrate yourself everyday, keep moving, keep smiling, and create your energy! What a great way to start the school year with movement, positivity, and our SJR family together!

A special thank you to our amazing HSA for their energy in organizing such a fun evening, and bringing our school community together. #WeAreSJR, #archphilly, #AOPS_schools, @AOPS_schools, #letsgrowsports, @letsgrowsports

Huge thank you to Ryan McFarland for hosting our "Let's Grow with Sports" Assembly during our SEL Day!! The Assembly was high energy, full of fun, and lots of learning! The assembly left our students with many strategies they could use to support their mental health.

@keyonte1george with the invitation to talk out your feelings and to talk about what you’re going through as a way to release anxiety and stress.

So thankful for this collab with the @utahjazz serving 180+ classrooms and 3500 kids across the entire state of Utah with mental health and wellness programming!

Today we collaborated with the @jr_76ers and @letsgrowsports to serve 5+ elementary schools from the Philadelphia area!

We focused on teaching “Next Play Speed” and used highlights from 76ers LEGEND Allen Iverson to show how high performers move on from mistakes FAST!

Our virtual SEL assemblies are educational and entertaining so that kids lock in and learn with us while having a blast.

Collaborating with the Jr 76ers always takes these events to the next level and we greatly appreciate their support of our work and youth mental health!

We’d love to collaborate with your local elementary school, so please contact us if you’re interested in learning more about our virtual assemblies.

A dream collaboration!!!

When we started offering virtual mental health assemblies to support elementary school students, we knew we wanted NBA and WNBA players and teams supporting that impact.

We know that the assemblies are POWERFUL with just us, but with them the impact is exponential!

Imagine an NBA arena filled with 20,000 kids celebrating eachother and learning about mindfulness, managing emotions, meditation, and the power of kindness.

That’s what we’re creating with the Utah Jazz…

Thank you so much for your trust and collaboration @utahjazz 🙏💜💛🏀🐻💪🙌🧠📈
