Another Picnic at Laurelhurst hat off the needles! Now we can have a matching set. Like the first, this is knit in @seachangefibers Bloom Tweed Worsted, this time in the colorway Stormy Seas. It is such a soft and squishy yarn, which creates beautiful stitch definition for the cables in this pattern by @letsknitthispartystarted !

Had a blast making this leftover project! It was easy to make and I definitely recommend it for beginners (if I can, you can). I also hope suffering in the heat with a winter hat was worth it 🫠

Finished my Picnic at Laurelhurst hat by @letsknitthispartystarted for the quick KAL hosted by @emtothethird. This hat was such a fun knit. Getting it done in a weekend was a blast.

I joined a micro KAL hosted by @emtothethird to knit @letsknitthispartystarted Picnic at Laurelhurst hat over the holiday weekend. I’m kind of in between projects at the moment, so knitting a hat (or 2) was a perfect project to work on. The pattern itself is great, especially if you’re a master of 1x1 cables!

I saw @emtothethird ‘s video on doing a micro KAL with @letsknitthispartystarted and I said hell yeah, life’s too short to not make something (and have another excuse to get a pattern 😌)

You already know how big of fans we are of the My Jose Hood pattern by @norgardknitters! And when three of our staff wear theirs on the same day… we’re obligated to do a lil photoshoot! Mckenzie, Quianna, and Emily have all knit their own versions and are big fans! Stop by and we’ll help you find the perfect yarn to knit yourself one!

Such a gem of a weekend spent with fiber community, helping out the sweet @sacred_sheep crew! They’ve created something truly special, and it was such a treat to be a part of it. Highlights included seeing all of the crafty friends, the SHEEP, and helping moderate the meetups (including speed-knitting competition!!) Knitters are just the best! ♥️🐑♥️
