Wigtown, Scotland — where my Mother @lettersmith and I wandered through the emerald countryside, got gloriously lost by the sea, and were blessed with perfect weather. As Scotland’s National Book Town, every corner seemed to invite a slower kind of travel: browsing shelves, discovering stories, and practising the careful art of literary tourism. Naturally, the day ended with a book—* on Horses & a whole section on Aviation*—because in Wigtown, even getting lost feels wonderfully well read. 📚🌊🐎✈️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

FIRST SOLO!!!! 🏆🏆🏆 I did it!! Every pilot will tell you this is theee moment. Flying the plane on your own is exhilarating!! I discovered you have to walk thru 🔥 to fly in the sky! 🌈 The possibilities to get to your goals are endless & can sometimes present different unimaginable trajectories & there is no wrong way to get there.. ✈️ I have so many to thank for helping me, my husband @garytustin3 for never telling me no. My Mom @lettersmith who sparked me on at every dark moment with encouragement! My BFF @lisakaseman who listen to me for hours & could now impress a cocktail party with her aviation knowledge. My 99’s posse always kind & supportive & picking up the phone to check in @ohlivyea @ladybumpington @judyphelps @jeffb1382 (studybuddy) Nick Fiano instructor @fianon who pushed me thru with invaluable technique & confidence. And the best ……. @anneliese.tomlinson the kindest, most patient, mama 🐻 & greatest instructor, I’m so lucky to have been gifted. 🍀 Now to study to the finish line….. (more to thank, just couldn’t fit in one post) @channelislandsaviation @theninetyninesinc @theninety_nines
