We had an opportunity to share my business with these beautiful queens at the MEGA Heritage Day Event, and they showed us so much love and support. ❤️✨

Thank you for gracing our business, Queen of Gospel Bathabile Sikhosana. And thank you, Letty Nyathela Chili, a veteran senior radio producer at Ikwekwezi FM and the winner of Entertainment Radio Producer of the Year at the Basadi in Music Awards in August 2026, for supporting my business and choosing Otdeyo Aesthetics. The 2026 Basadi in Music Awards kicked off with the Vanguard Awards, shining a spotlight on the women working behind and beyond the microphone to shape South Africa's entertainment industry.

From artist management, journalism and radio to television, podcasting, styling, makeup and hairstyling, Night 1 recognised the professionals whose work helps build and sustain the entertainment ecosystem.

Among the night's winners were Sannah Thwala, Ivie Ani, Boipelo Mooketsi, Letty Nyathela Chili, Smangele Sibisi, Zamo Dlamini, Candice Modiselle, Khanyisile Mdletshe, Minnie Dlamini and Khanyi Mars.

The Vanguard Awards served as a reminder that the entertainment industry isn't built only on the artists we see on stage — it also takes an entire community of women working behind the scenes. ✨

🏆 Congratulations to all the Night 1 winners.
