Yeah well there are catering deliveries, but then there are @level.best catering deliveries! Buffet for 100 people please, no problemo, and would you like that delivered by green, clean, eco-friendly cargo bikes?? Yes of course, well why wouldn't you!

For business meetings, training session lunches, events, launches, office parties - it could be sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads, sausage rolls, full buffet platters or just cake cake and more cake! Level Best will absolutely provide you with an awesome selection of delicious goodies, fresh, made right here in Colchester on thr day, and we will be thrilled to pick it up from them and delivery to you!

So proud of this, the second, edition of Culture for Everyone, the programme launched by @creativecolchester, allocating unused and underutilised venue and exhibition space in Colchester city centre to organisations and individuals who couldn’t access or afford it ordinarily, in this case @cuckoofarmstudios @space_colchester_ and @levelbestartgallery

Have you spotted our new Culture for Everyone exhibition at Debenhams?

Following the fantastic response to our project earlier this year, we’re delighted to have once again teamed up with our friends at @culversquare to showcase local creativity in this unused space.

Next time you’re in the city centre, make sure you take a look at the work on display!

On Culver Street West, you’ll find impactful artwork by @demelzafanshaweart and @flisanbeard

Along Head Street, the windows have been curated by @cuckoofarmstudios shining a spotlight on some of their very talented resident artists, including Bram Winterford, Claire Rhodes, Nicholas Rowe, Tom Armstrong, Gary Winterford, Pam Schomberg, David Smith, Lu Yu, Lynn Foster, Sheena Clover and Hanne Mannheimer.

Finally, over at Culver Square, you’ll discover bold and beautiful work created by artists at @level.best .

A huge thank you to our Chair, Joanne Ooi @culture.vlog for spearheading this project, and to all of the incredible artists, organisations and partners who have helped bring another inspirational exhibition to life. And keep an eye on the windows; the displays will be changing over the coming weeks, giving you even more fabulous local art to discover!

The sky might be grey but we are filling Colchester with vibrant colour today! We are excited to install our latest exhibition at the old Debenhams site in collaboration with @culversquare

This time around our exhibiting artists represent @cuckoofarmstudios @space_colchester_ and @level.best

In this video, check out the installation process from @demelzafanshaweart and @flisanbeard whose work you can see on Culver Street West.

This project is part of our ongoing Culture for Everyone programme supported by our local partners and @pamcoxforcolchester

Lots more to come, stay tuned…. And be sure to go check out the wonderful art on display!
