Please go follow the incredible @levels_gaza! They are an English-learning school that has been rebuilding recently after the Occupation destroyed their original buildings, and they need your help to continue their work with rebuilding their facilities and providing education for students.

They also have been providing regular community support for displaced people for years because of people giving to their campaign, and you can give to help too. Even $ 5 helps them keep going, so please make sure to give anything you can!

Why Kelly Clarkson? Why did you decide blasting Art of Play @artofplay to your hundreds of millions of followers, who are now harassing this small business and destroying their reputation, was necessary? Couldn’t you have called the manager? And to the fans: This is how you want to use your free time? To hurt small businesses on behalf of the powerful? Think of all the good both Clarkson and her stans could’ve done with this energy and organizing.

Can you imagine the impact it would’ve had if @kellyclarkson had just shared one of these organizations’ links to her story? Or if she had rallied her fans to help these orgs @sulalaanimalrescue @operationolivebranch @levels_gaza instead of using it to target a small business that is no doubt struggling in this economy? We see the immense damage they have already done to this business; imagine if that energy had been spent raising money and awareness for helpless animals of Gaza? For the children and women of Gaza and Sudan? It’s hard to not be disheartened when things like this show the power of a platform and mobilized group, and this is what it’s being utilized for. If you’re a fan of Clarkson and are thinking about going to bully that small business, think about how much better it would be if you donated or shared these organizations’ fundraisers to a friend or on your story instead of writing that Google review to hurt someone. #kellyclarkson #artofplay #celebrity #stanculture #smallbusiness

THE OLIVE TREE — A Short Film: The Olive Tree holds profound meaning for us as Palestinians, symbolizing our deep-rooted connection to the land and our unwavering spirit of صمود (Sumood)—steadfastness.

As we enter the harvesting season, we recognize that these trees for generations, have been cultivated across Palestine, not only being a source of our livelihoods but also a living testament to our heritage. The trees’ ability to thrive in harsh conditions mirrors the resilience of our people who, despite ongoing displacement and occupation, continue to stand firm and nurture their connection to their homeland.

In Palestinian culture, the olive tree becomes more than just an agricultural asset; it is a symbol of survival and resistance. The destruction of olive trees by Zionist forces and settlers in Palestine is felt not only as a material loss but as an assault on identity and existence. It is akin to losing a loved one.

Yet, we persist: replanting, rebuilding, and refusing to sever our bonds with the land. Just as the olive tree stands through the passing of centuries, so too does the Palestinian spirit, embodying the very essence of Sumood: resilience, hope, and an enduring commitment to the future of our people.

As Palestinians in the diaspora, whether it’s writing and reciting poetry, whether it’s learning the art of Tatreez, or whether it’s the simple act of picking olives—we practice these activities as a form of cultural resistance: keeping the traditions of our people alive, until we can return to our homeland.

WHO WE ARE: The Palestine Liberation Collective (formerly the United Liberation Front for Palestine) is a Palestinian-led grassroots organization based out of Bakersfield, California who still believe in the work that brings the Palestinian struggle to the forefront and centers it as a means of achieving our collective liberation. We are Palestinians and comrades from every community that knows what it means to live under oppression and believe that the work we do still matters.

Those of us who continue to do this work built a movement in this city from nothing. Then we watched it drift away from Palestine as it lost itself further into obsession with image and endless infighting. Palestine was being pushed to the margins of a movement built in its name. So instead of fighting to reclaim what was lost, we started over.

The public eye has shifted, and many organizations have gone quiet, but the genocide hasn’t halted. Palestinians have never had the luxury of pausing their resistance, and we aren’t stopping ours. It’s time to bring the focus back to Palestine where it belongs.

If you’ve been looking for somewhere to do tangible work for Palestine, come build with us. DM us and keep an eye out for actions and events coming soon.

One Struggle To Free Us All. 🇵🇸

Are you looking for a practical way to connect with and help teenagers in Gaza get more English practice?
Depending on their internet and devices I'm hoping to gather 5 or 6 people to take on 2 students 10-15 min a week for casual chatting.

Haneen and Mahmoud @hanramzi99 @mahm0ud_kh0dari have done a brilliant job reopening @levels_gaza .
Can you help?
Let me know. 🤍🤍🤍

💔 She lost her only son… his name was Hamza.

But Hamza was not the only one she lost.
Her entire family was taken from her, one by one, leaving behind a mother carrying a pain no heart should ever have to bear.

Now, only her brother remains beside her.

Imagine being a mother, losing your only child, losing your family, and waking up each day to a home filled with memories instead of the people you love.

Hamza was her son, her joy, her family, her world.
And now, all she can do is carry his memory in her heart.

May Allah have mercy on Hamza and his family, grant his mother endless strength and patience, and protect the brother who remains by her side. 🤲🏻🕊️

Please remember this mother in your prayers. 🇵🇸

FROM RUINS… TO A NEW BEGINNING.

Before 2023, Levels was one of Gaza’s leading educational centers — a place where students came to learn, grow, and build their future.

Then everything changed.

Levels was reduced to ruins.

But the story didn’t end there.

Because of the incredible people who believed in Levels, supported it, and helped rebuild, **Levels Educational Center is open again.**

This reopening is more than a rebuilt building.
It is a reminder that **education can rise from destruction, and hope can rise from the ruins.**

But the journey is not over.

The students, teachers, and community still need support to keep moving forward.

**You can be part of what comes next.**
Support Levels. Share their story. Donate if you can @levels_gaza

Every contribution helps keep education and hope alive.
