UnitedHoops Week 3 Results:
SWIPE to read game breakdown!

Game 1 – Kill Switch vs. @qc.soles

In our opening matchup, both teams came out and set the tone for the day. They came out of the gate firing on all cylinders. Jamere Burrage had some nice cuts and finishes in the first half to get Kill Switch going, while Cyrus Little knocked down an early three and got to the basket to keep QC Soles rolling. This game was a battle from start to finish, with Kill Switch holding the lead in the second half. However, after a parade of points from De’vontay Wright, QC Soles fought their way back into the game. It all came down to the final play. After a steal by Jamere Burrage, Will Spriggs brought the ball across half court, attacked the middle, and found a wide-open Burrage on the wing for the game-winning shot! Kill Switch takes down the No. 1 seed and picks up a huge win. Jordan Metcalf led the way for Kill Switch with 18 points, while De’vontay Wright finished with a game-high 27 points.

Game 2 – Fam Rec vs. Steve Novak Elite

In our second game of the day, it was a matchup between two teams looking to take a step in the right direction this week. Both teams came out playing hard and competing from the opening tip. Cortaviaus Seales picked up right where he left off last week, controlling the first half for Fam Rec. However, Steve Novak Elite didn’t back down. Devin Harper sparked his team with some big rebounds and strong finishes early on. The game remained close until the second half, when Steve Novak Elite took control. With the target score in play, Fam Rec battled back after trailing, forcing turnover after turnover, and Cortaviaus Seales capped off the comeback with the game-winning basket. Seales finished with 30 points in another MVP-caliber performance, while Devin Harper led Steve Novak Elite with 12 points.

Game 3 – Dylan Harper Elite vs. Augie Elite

In a competitive matchup between the No. 2 and No. 5 seeds, Jovohn Davis had several physical finishes in the first half to set the tone for Augie Elite. However, Dylan Harper Elite found themselves leading early thanks to a true team effort, highlighted by Idris Thomas knocking down three early three-p
