🧡💚 IN THE SPIRIT OF FAMU HOMECOMING! 🐍🌱

We brought the garden to the Rattlers! 🧡💚🌿

Rocker Boxes and Roy da Farmer teamed up with FAMU alumni for a planting experience where we talked about ALL THINGS PLANTS! From growing our own vegetables and getting our hands in the soil to sharing gardening tips and everything in between, we planted more than just plants… we planted knowledge, connections, and a little inspiration! 🌱✨

Because who says the learning stops after graduation?! 👩🏾‍🌾🌿

From the classroom to the community, we’re showing folks just how fun and rewarding it is to grow your own food. 🥬🍅🌶️

FAMU pride and alumni vibes, 🐍🧡💚

ITS TIME…. Sunday October 4th is the FIRST DAY! ✨

I’m officially bringing the @tracynicoleclothing Experience to Bloomingdale’s at Lenox Mall, and we’re starting with the Refined Collection.

But listen… I have to ease Bloomingdale’s into this thing. 😂 They don’t quite know what’s coming yet!

Come meet me, shop the collection, try on your favorites and be part of this incredible first day. This is only the beginning—and I cannot WAIT to share everything we have planned over the next few months.

ATLFW: The Edit × Bloomingdale’s

Aye man, shout out to myself. I’m really learning my way around the kitchen with this farm to table shit🤣. All I did was cut my cucumber, some fresh garlic, white onions, some fresh dill from Publix (but I’m finna grow my own). A lil garlic powder, red pepper flakes, mustard seeds, Kolsher salt, cracked pepper, 1 cup of water and 1 cup of white vinegar. That’s thang bussing too. #fyp #georgia #atlanta #food #growing

I have known Courtney since the 90’s (although, since we were at different schools, I never fully appreciated our grade difference when we were younger until the milestone birthdays started happening and I was left confused—like now...”What do you mean you are turning 50?!!!!”).

She is the show up, show out, be there, be supportive, do all the things for you in a way that seems like reflex because she has so much ease to it but it is not merely reflex—it is intention. She will drive 10 hours, fly across the globe, coordinate from afar, move in during devastating moments, and will also have a welcome basket for you in the many hotels she has been behind that may in fact spoil you for life (if the room doesn’t have champagne, a note of friendship, and a fruit plate with fromage when you arrive are you even really there?!).

Miami is where Courtney has built her life for the past 20 plus years. She is a hospitality super star. There was a time, when if I wanted to know what Courtney did on a given weekend before talking to her; I would simply scroll paparazzi photos of celebrities who were in Miami for an event. If they were A-list and doing whatever was hot—Courtney was behind the event, the logistics, the magic and she was front and center in the pictures. Me answering the phone: “Honey, I know about your weekend. I saw you all over Getty Images.”

When she said she was going to celebrate her 50th, I didn’t know which Courtney we would get. Low key let’s lay by the pool Courtney or let’s party until the sun rises. Turns out, she chose both and it was wonderful. Her mom and her mom’s friends—who are in their 80’s and have been friends since birth because their PARENTS were friends were all there for the occasion too. They met in Iowa and are affectionately known as The Iowa Mafia. Listen, if they are what the 80’s have in store for me...sign me up buttercup! If there was a highlight of the trip (in a trip of highlights) hanging out with them may have been my favorite. To be cont…

Friday I decide to invite a few of my friends over to pick vegetables from my garden. I also made some salsa (of course), grilled zucchini and squash, pasta salad, and I grilled chicken from @Hog_Man85 🤪 So it was a lil farm to table experience as well. I think it’s safe to say that everyone had a good time. Until the next one folks. #friends #family #farmtotable #garden #community
