📣 Flow Fest Philly Instructor Announcement! ⭐️
Stoked to announce these esteemed Instructors: @boogleplexcircus & @hannah.cirque !

BoogiepLex Circus teaching:
Partner Juggles: Passing
Clown Technique with Dr. Boogie
Intro to Samba with Dr. Boogie
Lex and Boogie have both separately practiced circus arts for a decade. They met at an acro and juggle jam in 2019 and started merging their diverse experiences into a unique flavor of flow. Dr. Boogie began dancing in her socks on hardwood floors as a preteen. As an adult she danced Swing and Samba for 8 years, until she found the circus arts community, where her goofy flare was fully empowered. She's squeaked ever since and has taught at over 20 festivals. Lex is a multitudinous mover motivated by musicality and flow. They love to foster joy through movement play. Lex is at their happiest when performing or playing with others and focuses their practice toward interactivity. Their movement practice includes pole, acro yoga, contemporary dance, trapeze, lyra, inversions, juggling, dragon staff, tight rope and rolla bolla. Pittsburgh PA, is their home where they also like to grow, build, or ferment things. IG @boogleplexcircus +@lexackson + @dr.circus_clown

Hannah Pinkos teaching:
Single Hoop Circus Flair

Hannah is a lifelong performer who fell in love with movement arts after learning flag and rifle spinning in high school color guard. Looking to fill the void after graduation, she found a wonderful flow arts community in 2012 and started learning fire staff spinning, followed by hula hoop dance, stilt walking, and aerial dance. As the owner of Skylark Circus Arts, Hannah can be found performing at events all around the Philadelphia aera, spreading her love of circus arts and bring joy to people of all ages. Transparency is important. I’ve recently had work done for #internationalclownweek. The side effects are no joke but worth it @boogleplexcircus 🤡👃‼️

ACROCAMP 🎪 last year’s camp did not go as expected with a sprained ankle Saturday morning during group photos 😓 but my love for this event has not diminished at all! Some highlights included fire spinning, taking a poppy trio class, and getting creative with nude poses while injured 🤕

While being carried around by Clifton & Jarred and cared for by my fellow acrobats, I fell even more in love with acrocamp and the connections it’s brought me.

This year I’m coming back strong with a healed ankle and a GIANT posse of PGH acrobats! Y’all aren’t even ready for us 🤗
