Movement matters at every age! Our students took that message into the community—for seniors at Country Living in Bethlehem and middle schoolers at St. Michael the Archangel School in Coopersburg. 💪

Our Sport & Exercise Physiology students represented DeSales University at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine (MARC-ACSM) conference!

Bohdan Doyle presented his research project, “Effects of a Novel Balance Training Device on Individuals with Parkinson’s Disease: A Pilot Study,” was completed in collaboration with the DeSales Doctor of Physical Therapy Program’s Pro Bono Clinic. The project explored a new interactive balance trainer designed to support individuals with Parkinson’s disease.

Many of our students also attended the conference to learn about cutting-edge research, connect with professionals, and explore graduate school and career opportunities in exercise science, rehabilitation, and performance.

So proud of our students for continuing to learn, present, and represent DeSales with excellence! ❤️💪
