🪴 FACE IT PEOPLE: Buying a home, especially your first home, is no easy (or cheap) feat! You have to know what to look for, how to submit offers, what documents are necessary, how to apply for mortgage, negotiate pricing, work with listing agents and attorneys, navigate closing process - and those are just the steps if everything is going super smooth!
Why go through it alone when it costs you NOTHING to hire an experienced realtor who can guide you to the finish line where you can confidently know that are all the T’s were crossed and I’s were dotted.

🚨READ CAPTION!!🚨

“For Sale By Owner” is when a homeowner is selling their property without the representation of a real estate broker.

TRUE STORY: I once worked with a seller who would sit like this, in a robe with a cigar, in front of his home wondering why it wasn’t selling for 5 years - and still completely confident in his FSBO strategy

Most of the time sellers chose this route to save money on agent fees and because of the perceived notion that selling property is as easy as simply throwing a “for sale” sign in the yard.
According to the National Association of Realtors, less than 10% of FSBOs actually sell.

Here are a few reason FSBOs fail:
- Owners don’t know how to prepare the home for market & how to present to buyers
- Owners don’t screen buyers’ finances
- Both sellers and buyers do not know how to negotiate offers
- Home is not priced correctly
- Owner has limited availability for dealing with buyers
