💃🏽MY EXPERIENCE 💃🏽
Back in August I had the opportunity to teach at @lexdancefactory for their Summer Intensive Program. And this is Logan, since day 1 I was really impressed of how Logan was handling class, between her retention, cleanliness, performance, and her own style alone. I decided to record this class with her because out of all the classes I thought this is an Int/Adv adult class I did back in Puerto Rico and she caught it. She is already a very versatile dancer with just 11 years old. This shows that there is a new generation that already has a lot to offer to the industry and community.🔥🔥

I always enjoy my time teaching to all of these students, as a professional dancer I love to see the drive that young dancers have and think that there is so much talent now and for the future. 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Keep it up Logan🔥🔥💃🏽

Confession time… 💕💃
When I was a child and all through college, I LOVED to dance. And truthfully, I still do. 💗

Growing up, I had to fight my way through a lot of difficult circumstances. But somehow, I always managed to dance through them—even when no one else could hear the song playing in my head. Dance was joy. It was freedom. It was a place I could go when the world around me felt heavy.

Sometimes, watching my daughter dance makes me think about how much I wish I had been able to experience some of the opportunities she has today. But I think that is also part of what makes watching her so incredibly special.

I get to watch her grow up with the freedom and opportunity to fall completely in love with dance. And there is something beautiful about watching your child find joy in something that once helped carry you through some of the hardest parts of your own story. 🥹

Five years of dance already, and I am SO proud of the dancer she is becoming—not just because of what she can do on a stage, but because of the confidence, dedication, friendships, and happiness that dance continues to bring into her life.

Maybe that is one of the beautiful things about being a parent. Sometimes, we get to give our children opportunities we once wished for ourselves—and then we get a front-row seat as they turn those opportunities into something entirely their own.

We are so excited for everything this year will bring. Here’s to Season 17, year FIVE for our girl, and many more years of learning, growing, dreaming, and dancing. 🩰✨💕

And no matter what life brings, I hope she always remembers: keep dancing—even when you’re the only one who can hear the music. ❤️
