One year @theboroughdowningtown 🩵

I grew up with my Dad telling me about how his grandfather told him that he would one day open a bar. All my life he had this dream and the drive to accomplish it. And now it’s been open one year and I can’t imagine my life without this place. I have seen my Dad pour every ounce of himself into The Borough to give Downingtown a place to gather, listen to live music, and enjoy some damn good drinks. I have seen him grow and learn in an industry he was newer to and adapt when life throws curveballs. I could not be prouder of my Dad than I already am:)

The people truly make the place and I have met some of my favorite people through working here. Steve makes me laugh on the worst of days. Monica always brings snacks. Regan & Steph became my bestest friends. Every bartender is dedicated to the craft and is so supportive esp when I have questions. I love sharing stories with my fellow servers and staying way past our shift to chat. The managers give their all to make this place run smoothly. Chef Joe always turns on “Dreams and Nightmares” when he knows I’m in the kitchen🤣 The Borough family is unmatched and we couldn’t have done any of this without them!😊💗

I would love to hear any of your favorite stories at The Borough! Thank you for all of the love you have given this place. On behalf of my family, we are eternally grateful and can’t wait for many more years to come🤘🤘
