Leaving the 2026 Director’s Convention feeling inspired and full of gratitude! @moorheadjustforkix made the Top 25 Programs for the third time since I took over the program and I received the prestigious Developing Director of the Year award!😭❤️

It’s hard to find the right words to express the love I have for Just For Kix, everyone at the home office, my staff, our dancers, and all of our wonderful dance families! When I started this job almost seven years ago, I never imagined the amount of growth the program would have and how much I would also grow! I went from being a nervous college student looking for a job during Covid, in a small studio with concrete floors, with about 100 dance classes being taken, and unsure of the future…..to now being 27 with a family of my own, doing this as my full time job, having our own beautiful studio, and over 400 dance classes being taken. It’s been a crazy journey with lots of highs and some lows. But I couldn’t be more grateful! Every high and every low has led me to this moment and I’m so blessed!

Thank you to Cindy and Steve for providing such a wonderful company to work for! I’m so grateful for everything you guys do to go above and beyond for us Directors! Just For Kix is one of a kind! Thank you to the office staff for supporting us and all of the hard work you do behind the scenes! Thank you to my Moorhead JFK dancers and families for trusting me and the unwavering support! Thank you to my staff for your hard work, passion, and giving everything you have to make our program what it is today! Thank you to my husband and family for the sacrifices you make to allow me to continue sharing my passion with so many dancers! I could go on and on about the wonderful people that support me, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Here we go, entering my 7th year as a director and I couldn’t be more excited to see what the year has in store!💗🩰✨

Last night at our 2025–2026 banquet, Savana had the honor of receiving the prestigious Developing Director of the Year award!

This award recognizes directors with 4–10 years of service who demonstrate continued program growth, dedication to their students, and a commitment to elevating their teams. Savana was recognized for the continued growth of Moorhead Just For Kix, her unwavering dedication to her dancers, and the program’s success and growth at TWD competitions.

We are so proud of you, Savana, and grateful for all that you do for our dancers and program. Congratulations on this well deserved honor! 🧡
