This weekend was so exciting and emotional lol!! In the middle of my crazy, nonstop life, my son tells me he’s about to ask the love of his life to marry him. With less than 48 hours to help him pull together one of the biggest days of his life, FRIDAY morning we hit the ground running (with a queso fountain at the top of the list 🤣)! SATURDAY after Mardi Gras parade performances and all the beautiful chaos, we watched pure magic unfold. I am so grateful to have been a part of all of this! You know I would have been real sad if I didn’t get to help. I was living my best life! Haha

From the awesome photographer @delaneyycaptures to the perfect venue, every single detail fell into place exactly the way it was meant to! Corrin and Colton pulled off a script of a lifetime 🤪 and Auntie Michelle came through for the engagement party @piersuiteevents, it was perfect! Lexi looked absolutely stunning, Allan looked so handsome, and most of all, they looked so incredibly happy and deeply in love.

As a mom, you pray your whole life for your children to find their soulmate — their happily ever after. You hope and dream that someone will love your babies as much as you do. And when they find that person, you just know your prayers have been answered. We’ve been blessed for that to happen to both of ours 💕

Our family may fall in love early, but when we find our person, we hold on tight. Watching Allan find his forever felt like witnessing a promise fulfilled. I’ve always said that once he found his love, that would be it.

Here’s to watching our family grow and to welcoming this beautiful soul @lexi___nelson and her sweet family @ljhnelson into ours. Love truly is a beautiful thing. We are beyond blessed.
