I am not even going to lie, I have been thinking about this post for the past few months. Not just as a reflection on my time in Sigma Kappa, but the question of how can you sum up the years of growth, laughter, friendships, support through tough times, and opportunities that have come from joining this sisterhood. The heart, pearl, dove, and the colors of maroon and lavender are thing I love and cherish. Being a Sigma Kappa is something you can’t explain, you just have to experience it. Thank you to all of my sisters, new members, actives, and alum for your constant love and support, because y’all are the heart of our sisterhood💜🕊️

Dear Sigma Kappa,
You have been one of the most unexpected blessings of my life. Sitting down with Lexi to talk about COB, 1 year ago today, I never would have expected my life to turn out like this. This past year has been my most amazing yet. I met my big on bid day and that one day turned into a lifetime of friendship! I also met my sweet little in the spring and I can’t help but feel like we were drawn together for a reason. She is my best friend and I don’t know what I would do without her <3. Doing recruitment this year has only brought me closer to so many of my sisters. I am forever grateful that I got to experience this for two years, even though that doesn’t seem long enough. I love sigma Kappa because their philanthropy allows me to walk for my grandpa and great grandpa and I love sigma Kappa because of how special our sisterhood is. I am forever proud to be an Alpha Omega!🕊️💜

philanthropy round here at sigma kappa is so incredibly special to me and getting to talk about it for the past three days hits so close to home.

many of you don't know but my grandpa actually has Alzheimer's and has recently been put on end of life care and getting to be a part of an organization where we work so hard to help raise awareness for a cure is truly touching to me. i'm so grateful to be apart of something bigger than myself have so much love for sigma kappa!!
