We had the best time last week hosting @sofiepavittface at our New York flagship store. It was a night full of skincare, @drinkfiglia drinks, tunes by @noah_prebish and an honorable mention to the Jell-O shots by @solidwiggles . We are grateful to have celebrated both brands with our community!

celebrated 1 year of @disabledand with @betseyjohnson for a maximalist masquerade to close out disability pride month💜🎂 and not a single guest missed the assignment.

I’m biased but being in a room with designers, artists, musicians working for some of the world’s biggest brands (who also happen to be disabled) is nothing short of soul-filling. pinching myself that I get to do this, and we have so many exciting plans + announcements in the coming weeks.

July is disability pride month. I feel a great responsibility and pride in being disabled. Disabled people are so resilient, empathetic, creative, and just more interesting…and sexy. Special shout out to @lexijordanbrooks for organizing this meet up of people with limb differences of all ages. I wish I could tell 14-year-old me who thought every day of suicide that I would someday be living in New York and meeting up with a dozen other people with limb differences, just like me. That I would be wearing a tank top without a second thought, befriending a group of strangers. I want to hold little Molly and tell her that everything is going to be better than she could’ve even imagined. I wouldn’t want to be able bodied if I was given a do over. Like I always say, God gave me one hand because she knows how much I love attention. 🧡🧡🧡 Give a disabled person in your life an extra smooch or a $20 bill this month. And don’t stop fighting for our equal rights—Because it’s not an if you will become disabled, it’s a when.
