where my heart is

2025 was such a major year. I got a full time job post-graduation, bought a house, quit that job, decided to go back to school, got another job, adopted two cats and got married. And along the way, my family and friends loved and supported me. And I got to see them through many major life events as well. How blessed I am to be so loved! Home is truly when your heart is, and my heart is with them.

The true honor is having these women in my life!

There was something so amazing about being surrounded by my closest family and friends who have become family on my wedding day. All of these women have love and supported me through so much. Each represents such a different but critical point in my life. The Lord has blessed me so much with them!

I’m especially grateful for my mom and babies sisters. My mom sacrificed so much for her children. And seeing my sister grow up into young women has been so crazy. Especially watching Halanah become so academically motivated and Mhani excel in her dance.

Brad said to celebrate our 30th anniversary we should do something I’ve always wanted to do… rent a house on Lake Michigan. It was the most perfect week. I’m not sure how I got so lucky.
