I'm still reeling from the fact Katsu has once again come and gone, and I am so unbelievably grateful to have spent it surrounded by my bestest friends. 🥺❤️ Over the last 3 years that i've attended this con, this truly felt like the best one yet... and it's all thanks to the lovely people pictured above. I love and miss all of my pookies so much already!!! 🫶🏻

Don't fret! I've got PLENTY of Katsu content & photoshoots to share with you all, and plan to dedicate a post to each of the cosplays I wore this past weekend! ‼️ There are so many sillies in this recap, yet way more memories i've still yet to share.

MagFest wrap post 🎲

First con of 2026, and it was an absolute blast! I had no idea what to expect and didn't realize it had a whole TTRPG and Tabletop area until like a week before the con, but I was able to play a game like every day 🙌

I didn't do much photography, but I'm pretty glad about it since there was so much to do at MagFest and it gave me time to actually do some hall shots which I never get time to really do 😅

Thursday, @whimsycosplay, and I rushed to MagFest so we could make a D&D one shot, which was so worth it. I packed a D&D OC but ended up being too tired to cosplay, lol. But I had so much fun exploring the artist alley that night!

Friday, I cosplayed Pike and finally got to shoot with @bearphotobuffalo 🎉 Bringing her armor was a trek, but it so worth it! I changed into her comfy outfit for a bit before switching into Ann. Our P5 Girl group made it out of the chat 🙌 with @sammii.cos @ru.cos @itstherealavatar @shyyminx, and we did a quick shoot with @manta.raf before eating at Grace's which is like my annual Friday tradition from Katsu 🤣

Saturday, I wore lvl 10 Jester, which was definitely a commitment 😬 But I got to do another shoot with Bear before doing an invoke duplicity with @wezrez and @simplyfrankpro which was super fun! Got to play some Daggerheart but the evening was a huge highlight of the con because we got to make these cute dice leather bags and then I got to run the Witch is Dead for which was such a fun silly TTRPG. I think I might start running these every con, there's so many easy short ones to run!

Sunday, I wore Akutagawa with @sammii.cos, and we shot with @abraxasia.gram, which was such a fun time! We got super lucky finding such a gorgeous spot for photos, and the previews were amazing, so excited 🙌 Grabbed a quick lunch with the crew and then left because a 7 hour drive back is no joke 🥲

Overall, I had an incredible first MagFest, so I'm so glad I brought Pike and Jester and will definitely be coming back! Thank you to anyone who said hi or tried to hang out because boy, this was a busy and crazy con!
