My completely valid reason for being late to work this morning. Some people have traffic… I have this. Thankfully, today’s unexpected boot tenant was just a friendly old toad. A rather enormous one who had also very kindly left the inside of my boot soaking wet! But seriously, rule number one of living in the jungle is to ALWAYS check your boots before putting them on. I’ve found snakes, tarantulas and scorpions hiding in mine before… you never know what you’re going to find! 👀

Putting the FUN back into fundraising! I think this is proof that fundraising doesn’t have to be boring, and that you CAN travel and have a positive impact on the world around you! This was either going to be a brilliant idea or a really terrible one… thankfully, it was brilliant! @suzieszterhas and I ended up with not one but TWO sets of auction winners, and I couldn’t have wished for nicer people to spend time with while tracking lions through the Zimbabwean bush. And the best part is that as I type this, the walls of our new headquarters in Costa Rica are being built, and we are getting closer and closer to Team Sloth finally having a permanent home of our own 🥹 A MASSIVE thank you to our wonderful auction winners for helping us make this possible, @lexwildlife for helping us pull off this wild idea, and of course to @wearewilderness for making the whole experience so magical! Finally, thank you to our wonderful trustee and sloth superhero @suzieszterhas who made this whole thing happen! 💚💚🦥🦥

Now that we’re gearing up to introduce you to the team through a some pretty awesome crew interviews, let introduce some of the crew! 1 - @radhikatmalhotra the writer and director, from India but got lost in Costa Rica until this film fell out of her. 2- @corrales_solutionscr the go to guy who helped facilitate eve-ry thing! 3- @lexwildlife our kick as director of photography. We’re going to let the movie do the talking here but, holy shit. 4- our associate additional camera @adrimadrigalito a wildlife cinematographer as well, Adrian felt just at home in ‘Wild’. 5- gaffy Diego @leeon.diegoo who work tirelessly to keep us on track. Kudos to the team for making it through. What a wild one! #lgbtqiafilm #queer #microbudgetfilmmaking #debutdirector #indiefilm

Out in the wild, survival is the only option. Tammy, a tourist on her honeymoon, finds herself tangled in the lives of locals when her husband costs a waiter his job, unleashing Mika, a drag queen who tears down town in search of money owed. Ignited, Mika seeks revenge. But a heist gone wrong launches chaos, acting as a cathartic release for both. WILD is about what women mortgage to survive, and what it costs to finally stop paying.
