I started this ministry with MY own plans and vision on how it was I wanted it to look. I knew that the lord had made it clear about wanting to use me as a walking testimony and beacon of hope for others, but I quickly began to feel stuck, discouraged, confused, and unsure of HOW when my story didn’t feel perfect, complete, and is still being written.

.
Until the holy spirit came to me during a beautiful moment my family and I had recently shared and nudged me to start there.

.
So here we are,
being carried from Parallel into Co Parents to our 5 year old daughter choosing faith over friction to make sure she understands that there’s one faithful God who has made this possible.

I didn’t feel worthy when the lord had called me to do this work because truthfully I did nothing HIS WAY and felt immense shame in that. He then reassured me that my mistakes will be used for ministry. Promising me that my story doesn’t stop here and that it has actually just begun. Reminding me that he is a way maker, redeemer, restorer, and that if I let him into the areas of my life I felt deeply embarrassed by; he’d show me all the reasons he’d never give up on me.

1 year took us further than we imagined, and we’re just getting started! 💕👟✨🫶🏼🫧

Our very first walk in June 2025 brought together friends and strangers, but we left as community. We had no idea that one walk would grow into the beautiful movement for creative wellness it is today!

What a year it’s been!

👟 June — First walk at Jamaica pond! + Our virtual step group (Big Stepper Challenge) launched.

☀️ July — We were featured on NBC10 with @kwanialunis and hosted weekly at @yougotitgirlllc Summer Camp teaching kids tools for self regulation through art and movement.

🖍️ August — We hosted our first @seaportbos pop-up with @blackownedbos and introduced our very first pop up with the Crayon Bar.

🏕️ September — We gathered for Labor Day Craft Camp, creating space for rest, creativity, and reconnecting with our inner child. We also hosted with our friends @_hifiv_ at @lyrikbackbay bringing crafts & good music to Newbury street!

👟 October — We unplugged and took things offline with a weekly walk series, and @gbhnews joined us to highlight our growing community and mission.

☀️ November — We partnered with @abeautifulresistance for Be The Light at the @icaboston and were featured in the @bostonglobe

💕 December–February — We rested.

💖 March — @samanthasvibe joined @loveyourmagicbos as a keynote speaker and we hosted our first-ever Craft & Kickback at @streettheorystudio.

🚀 April — @daionecurls, @lyn.ap, and @evelyn_b_cardoso officially joined the team and helped us dream even bigger.

🌿 May — We laced up our boots and hosted our very first hike together. We hit 950+ Newsletter subscribers!

And now somehow... just like that, It’s June again!

There are too many people to thank and we know we won’t be able to name everyone who has touched this work.

To our volunteers, collaborators, photographers, DJs, wellness practitioners, community partners, and every person who has shown up, supported us, and poured into this community—thank you. 💛

Art Girl Walk Club exists because of collective care, and we’re so grateful to be building this together.

Decisions, decisions, decisions. The editing process has begun, and it’s going to be a long one! I didn’t realize how vocal I was when I really liked a scene. Sorry about that @eo_don_noodles. I didn’t mean to blow your ears off, but sometimes the acting brought me so much joy that I couldn’t contain it. Two sessions this weekend and that’s just the beginning! Looking forward to seeing more surprises and having more moments of laughing out loud💜

I know that I’ve been MIA, but I've been going non-stop since September!! First up!!! This was the last production season for @loveundoneseries . Do y’all see some of these shots!!!! Nature, lighting and location created some “hallmark” moments. I can't wait for you to see them. And the acting! Get ready y’all. DRAMA!!
Production has ended and post has begun. I begin editing at the end of the week. Until I am finished, I can pretend that the book has not closed on the past 9 years. That the last punctuation mark has not been written. That the cap has not been put on the lens for the last time. We built a family and came together to build and tell stories. I've learned a lot, had fun, built bonds, accepted opportunities. As an actor I was challenged in so many ways. The biggest was directing so many of my own scenes. Doing both really made me tap into how I felt in the scene to recognize what I wanted to see as the director of the scene. As a director, I continue to learn how to marry desire and reality. Fortunately, it is better to set up too many shots than too few. Like I said to our DP, @jordancarroll.mp4 , I shoot for the stars, but I'll settle for the moon. If you have a stupendous DP, so much of what you want can be created in other ways. As I said, I begin editing Friday, so I'll get to see these faces a few more times before the screen goes dark one last time. Both Unconditional Love, where it all began, and the spin-off Love Undone will continue to live on, on YouTube (the link to both is in my bio). I've already run into cast mates on other projects (@kamrinicole and @mikedjoseph), so I hope this happens more often. Be on the lookout for updates and premiere information. TTFN
