Thank You Whiteland Volleyball

You have not only give me friends for life but a family. Thank you for showing me what it is truly like to have people that will always have your back. I have played with most of these girls for 6 years and I couldn’t be more grateful. I have seen different personalities and backgrounds. Thank you to everyone that has had my back through the ups and downs. For the first time ever I wouldn’t have another open gym, tryout, first practice, tournament, lock-in, last practice, and sectionals. I’m forever thankful for the 4 years of high school volleyball. I will never forget every laugh, every cry, every memory of volleyball. We have given sweat and tears to show how much we love this sport. It has proven how much dedication we have for something we love so deeply. Thank you volleyball for all the memories you have given me.

8/18/25, the day of my first high school game. the day i waited for since i was in 7th grade, to play with the people i looked up to the most. the girls i was so excited to compete with. it only took 2 months to consider these girls as my family, our one year together felt like thousands upon thousands. a bond that i never felt with any other team. to think our last game was today. not going to see my best friends, not to step on the same court ever again is the worst feeling in the world. there is nothing that will come close to the bond i have felt with this group of amazing girls. but more will come, and God will continue to guide. so thankful for year 1. 🧡💙 #whiteland #volleyball #2 #5

i was once a freshman on jv then a sophomore on varsity then a junior on varsity and somehow 8 seniors have always been by my side no matter what. beginning at a higher level than everyone in your grade has pros and cons making new friends but also realizing that those new friends will someday leave. in your mind your prepared to lose a few seniors each year but not 8. somehow i lost 8 seniors. everyone treats me as the 9th senior because we all always just been together but then i realize im actually not that 9th senior and realize I have a whole other season without my best friends on the court with me. this has been the best 3 years ever becoming friends with these 8 ppl and i dont know who I would be without them so i am so blessed and grateful to call each one of them my friends. it hit me on senior night but then hit me even harder when it hit game point for the last time. my advice for everyone coming into high school is cherish those times with your friends because when that whistle blows for last game its hard. seniors you will always be my number 1’s💙🧡#volleyball
