It's Lex Day! Happy birthday to my beautiful wife.🥳🎊🎉

To celebrate, head over to @beneficial_refresh and buy a juice!

But forreal, as crazy as it sounds, I think I love her birthday more than she does. With Lex, it’s never about the gifts or attention. Alexis is so selfless that she treats this as just another day, but it’s more than that.

It’s the day we get to celebrate the amazing person you are, Lex. From your genuine ability to empathize and care about people to your multiple personalities that always bring joy and light to any room, even when you are quiet, your energy still radiates.

That translates perfectly to the big screen, as you have starred in major projects like Superman, Only Way Out, and upcoming projects like How To Rob A Bank and Nocturne and that’s only to name a few. There is so much more you’ve got in the works. It's such a honor and blessing to be in the front row and cheering you on, as you not only chase, but also catch your dreams.

And we can’t forget the impressive way you have gotten involved in the local film scene, helping to make GCUFF a success, among with the other things you do yet never talk about. Too humble for your own good. But to sum it all up....

YOU ARE AMAZING.

I don’t call you goddess for nothing, because you are truly one of God's gifts to the world. That's why people stare at you. Because everyone knows. Just one look at you, and being in your presence, they have already been blessed.

So while you may not make a big deal for your birthday. I do. Because each birthday is another year of unforgettable memories and moments together. Most of all, it's another year I have spent loving you. So I wish for many more moments, memories, and birthdays with you, because life wouldn’t be the same without you.

I love you, queen, and happy birthday.

A slice of filming Her Only Way Out and the people who made it all happen 🫶🏻🥹

@haylieduff I’ve said it all before, but I am forever grateful for you. You have changed my life! Thank you for trusting and pushing me with every take- I am without a doubt a better actor because of you.

@sarah_borne , girllll how lucky am I to be best friends with you in real life and now your sister on screen?! A dream we always joked about and it actually happened- God is so good!

@joekurak, @jamesalejandrocorso, @loganshephardofficial, @lexy_lex, @deenadill, @brianspangler and all of of our day players and background actors- I couldn’t have asked for a kinder cast. Thank you for showing up with such amazing energy every day.

@whoisbrown thank you for your tireless work as our DP and producer. Addl producers, Toni Fox, @thisthatthethird , and Terrence Kiriokos! @sarah.x.stunts, our incredible stunts coordinator who literally kept me safe every day! Writers @markusredmond and Jeremy Inman- thank you for writing Kelly.

And the entire crew- y’all were put through the wringer with our fast shoot schedule and the COLD (Kentucky, what’s up with your winter🥶 ) and still managed to show up every day and create this movie. Thank you thank you.

Her Only Way Out is now streaming on the @lifetimetv app!! I’m so honored to be a part of it! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

I want to thank @whoisbrown, @haylieduff, @thekatywilson, @joekurak, @lexy_lex, @deenadill, @sarah_borne, the rest of the cast and crew, and @lifetimetv, and everyone who watched HER ONLY WAY OUT last night. It was a joy to see this story finally play out on screen after 2+ decades. The additional writers made it “Lifetime ready”and everyone involved did their jobs wonderfully.

Now, back to edits on volume 3 of The Blood Saga🙏🏽🩸

They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. In this movie, I’m the tree! Watch to find out why! 😈🍎

HER ONLY WAY OUT premieres this Sunday, October 11th at 8pm ET on @lifetimetv! 🎬🍿

💪Beneath the suspense and twists, this is a powerful story about a woman finding her voice, reclaiming her life, and having the courage to choose herself. I’m proud to be a small part of it.

🙏Huge thanks to @haylieduff, our fabulous director and an amazing human being, who somehow makes telling dark stories so much fun... even in snowy Kentucky weather!

So grateful to have shared this experience with @thekatywilson @sarah_borne @joekurak @jamesalejandrocorso @brianspangler @lexy_lex @loganshephardofficial @jamesalejandrocorso and all the wonderful people behind the camera who made it happen! @mollya.morgan @sarah.x.stunts @andreaahlmua @boundlessbeautystudiocincy @rileysrealm_ @cassish3r3 , Bob Cook, Toni Fox, and our talented and tireless DP/producer @whoisbrown , writer @markusredmond and so many more!! ❤️❤️

🎬 And here’s a fun little Hollywood tidbit: @thekatywilson played my daughter in a previous movie, also directed by the incredible @haylieduff, where I was also a not-so-great mother (and ended up dead). This time, I play the mother of the man who’s terrorizing her. Clearly, Katy and I have some unresolved family issues. I guess we’ll just have to keep making movies together until we work them out!

⚠️ A little heads-up: This film deals with domestic violence and some pretty intense moments, but at its heart it’s a story about courage and resilience! ❤️

A simple trip to DC turned into an opportunity that could help save lives.

I had the honor of joining the Association of Black Cardiologists for the Brother to Brother campaign, a real conversation about heart health, knowing your numbers, and protecting the people who need you here.

More to come. Stay HeartStrong. ❤️💪🏾

What a great time at the @gcuffcleveland Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival today! 🎬✨ We had the opportunity to check out Wildcards, and we thoroughly enjoyed this film from beginning to end!

Such a great story, talented cast, and an overall amazing experience. I love being able to support and celebrate Black film, storytelling, and creativity right here in Cleveland. 🖤

Wildcards is a 2026 courtroom thriller film directed and written by former civil-rights trial lawyer @iamwesmiller Wes Miller, starring and co-produced by actor-singer @wwwjustleon (Leon Robinson). It won Best Narrative Feature at the Essence Film Festival and hit theaters in late August 2026.

Wildcards is definitely one to put on your list! Make sure you check it out when it hits theaters nationwide this fall. 🍿🎥

@lexy_lex was an amazing moderator ❣️

Wow, year 9. Happy Anniversary to my Queen.

I’ll spare y’all the long speech, because words can’t fully describe our journey together. Through the ups and downs and the round and rounds, I’m grateful we have always chosen each other.

Through patience, communication, and reasons you can’t always explain.
I think the French word for it is love.

Chapter 14 of Plus More Life: A #HeartStrong Story tells a little more of our story and how you know when it’s real.

Love you, Queen. Thank you for choosing me.

Hear the full story, and plenty more, in the Plus More Life audiobook. It’s available wherever you get your audiobooks.

Another film under my belt 🎥✨ it’s only up from here! This was my very first time being the Department Head of Makeup! I’ve learned a lot of things about myself on this journey, mainly the ability to adapt and be patient.

This opportunity has taught me how to calm down and live in the moment, while still doing my job accurately and professionally. I still have a lot of things to learn about this industry, but I will say I’m excited for the journey and ready for whatever comes my way! 🙏🏽✨🎥

Thank you to @betweenbirdsdandelionsmovie @hey.its.indi @captured_by_cydney for believing in me and allowing me to be the Department Head of Makeup for such a beautiful film! I had an amazing time working on this film with such a talented cast! Cant wait for the movie to come out!
