Community is not just a word - it is what these volunteers build every single day! This #NationalVolunteerWeek, we are celebrating the incredible volunteers who power our Community Engagement efforts across North Carolina! Our Healthcare Partner Ambassadors strengthen relationships with the medical professionals who care for our T1D families. Our Meetup Volunteers create welcoming spaces where families connect, share, and find their people. Our Community Engagement Leads guide the strategy and heart behind how we show up in the communities we serve. And, our Summit Committee plans our Community Summit events that educate, inspire, and unite. Together, these volunteers ensure that no one in the T1D community ever feels alone. Thank you for all your time and passion!

It takes a team to build a Walk — and the Breakthrough T1D Triangle Walk Committee is one of the best. This #NationalVolunteerWeek, we are celebrating the volunteers who work behind the scenes to plan, organize, and execute an incredible day for the entire T1D community. From logistics to team recruitment to day-of details, this committee pours their hearts into making sure every walker, every family, and every supporter feels the energy of our movement. We also want to recognize our key event volunteers who help at Walk and other events across the Triangle! Thank you for #PartneringforInnovation — every step starts with you! 💙👟

Guess who is now a T1D Spibelt Ambassador?

We’ve been using @spibelt_t1d @spibelt single for years but the dual spibelt has been a game changer for us since starting school last fall!

Phone in one pouch and glucose tabs in the other 😁.

Use our link in bio and “Hayes” code for 20% off in bio!
