🍰🧁 Happy National Dessert Day! 🍪🍩

Life is sweeter with a healthy smile! 😁🦷 Enjoy your favorite treats today, just don’t forget to protect your smile!
💧 Rinse with water after eating sweets– Help wash away sugar and food particles.
🪥 Brush your teeth – Wait about 30 minutes before brushing, especially after acidic treats.
🧵 Don’t forget to floss – Remove sticky sweets hiding between your teeth.
🍰 Limit frequent snacking of sweets– Enjoy sweets with meals instead of throughout the day to reduce repeated acid attacks on your teeth.

The night was supposed to be all about burgers. But I couldn’t keep my eyes off these Honey G® Holy Cannolis by @mauroprovisions.

And before you come at me, these ain’t dessert.

We took crispy cannoli shells from the fine folks at @lezzabakery , stuffed ’em with herbed whole milk ricotta, then hit ’em with our sweet-heat Honey G® Pepper Relish.

Savory. Creamy. Crispy. Sweet. Spicy. A beautiful little handheld vessel for spreading the gospel of G.

I absolutely love this event and everything @chicago_gourmet does to celebrate this city and the ridiculously talented people who make up our food scene. Getting the chance to host Hamburger Hop again, this time alongside my pal @insta.flamm, surrounded by some of Chicago’s best chefs, friends and food people, is one heck of a gig.

Huge thanks to the entire @chicago_gourmet and @illinoisrestaurants crew for having me back and letting us bring a little Mauro Provisions beautiful nonsense along for the ride. And extra love to @lezzabakery for hooking us up with those perfect cannoli shells.

Thanks to every single person who came out, especially those who stopped by to get Holy Cannolied.
