I needed this trip. Truly. My last year I’ve intentionally taken a step back from drifting. The burnout and stress of how consuming it has been, progressively growing for the last twenty three years, was changing my attitude towards drifting entirely.

Stepping away and regaining my own center has helped me in many other aspects of my life, but this trip really helped me to remember why I love this sport.

Yeah the cars are cool and get us all around each other, but it’s these people. Like, it’s been two years since seeing some of these faces - some of which i only knew for this weekend even then, and it was an absolute pleasure to reconnect with these folks.

Thank you to any and everyone I crossed paths with at NSB. Truly. Cheers drifting fam! 🍻

Post event feels are heavy after this weekend! Had a blast at my first @driftindy No Star Bash! We got to hang with so many friends, some being the first time in person. Had prime parking with @team.shriek under our team @enjukuracing booth! The car did well other than a few small hiccups from a leaking injector and the holly comp shifter giving me some trouble but was able to get it all fixed thanks to the assist from @whoisrouchan. @mharwoodd was the perfect hype man all weekend! I didn’t do my best driving at all unfortunately. Not sure if it was just lack of time in this car over the past year or me just being in my head at a new track for the first time in a while. Whatever it was I was not on my game ,and hopefully can get that dialed in before next event. Needless to say we will be to another event here sooner than later and I’m pumped already!

I haven’t posted an actual FC update in a while, but the pieces are starting to come together 🌟

We got a TON of things knocked out over the weekend. Old hacked diff studs removed, new studs welded in, rear subframe put together, basically the whole rear end is situated minus a few parts.

The body work is also FINALLY finished. I wish photos did justice on the shape the paint was actually in, because it was insanely rough. Aesthetically I still have a laundry list to finish, but it shouldn’t be too bad!

Next big things on the list are fuel lines and checking over the motor/front end. I’m going to be spending a lot of quality time with this thing between now and NSB, but I’m feeling good about it being finished!

Had a great time at @driftindy DISL Round 2 at @m1concourse this past weekend!

I’m still dialing in the new car setup and battling a few issues, but it gets better with every event. Despite chasing issues all weekend, I was pumped to qualify 5th.

I never imagined my first laps with @damion_vitt would be in Top 32! @alx4er caught a picture of me giving him a thumbs up coming out of the last zone knowing he had it. So proud to watch him podium 3rd place!

10/10 weekend at @m1concourse for @driftindy DISL Round 2 ⚡️

Still no drift car so I wasn’t able to drive (it’s almost done I promise), but I had just as much fun! Got some fun behind the scenes action with @lynn.perlenfein at the front gate, saw some of the best drifting, saw a bunch of cool cars for the Woodward Dream Cruise, and like always got to spend time with my favorite people! Such a rad event and I already can’t wait for next year ❤️
