WHEN ALL SEEMS TO BE AGAINST YOU, REMEMBER, A SHIP SOMETIMES HAS TO SAIL AGAINST THE CURRENT, NOT WITH IT.....DON'T LET THIS GO OVER YOUR HEAD🤨!! Just Me 😏🧿 💪🏾👑🖤 (long post below)⬇️⬇️⬇️

* From the time I came back from getting my second coat of spray tan, check-ins with my coach & trainer, getting my makeup done, to being helped put my suit and jewelry by my best friend... the morning of June 7th was going to happen the way it wanted to, regardless of how I wanted it to be. Fast forward: After pre-judging, I knew I did not place...in both categories. I went back to my chair and texted those who rode with me through it all, I FAILED AND I WANT TO LEAVE. I immediately spoke to my best and another beautiful soul I met at my first competition, they both said, "FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED, DON'T LEAVE." I listened. FAST FORWARD FINALS: I PLACED IN BOTH! I can't tell you all the emotions I felt placing first in my age category and redeeming myself in my class by placing 4th! To be qualified...I AM NATIONALLY QUALIFIED 🥹! The medals being placed around my neck by a good friend and the hug received from my best friend immediately brought me to tears!!! GRATEFUL...THANKFUL....BLESSED !! I'M NOT DONE!
