Since we slacked on last week’s post, we had to make this one a banger. The boys took 2 games last week from Mercy University, and snapped the Molloy Lions win streak last night in a 4-1 win. We have a little throwback here for the staff who contributed to those three wins 😂. The boys look to split the weekend today in the final game vs Molloy. After today, the Spartans play a four game set at home against D’Youville to finish off the regular season. Let’s go boys, keep rolling!

Enjoy the special post for the boys going 2-0 today in the DH against CSI on the home turf. Christian Varela got the start in the first game, followed by great bullpen performances from Angelo Bartziokas and Lorent Hoti, who picks up another win on the season. In the second game, Cole Lindquist had another strong outing, followed by winning pitcher Chris Simonsen, Wiley Fleck, and James Garcia who notched his 5th save on the season. Great games today boys, let’s keep taking W’s. Roll staff and go Spartans!!

The Spartans stay hot and open ECC conference play with a DH sweep against CSI. Game 1, AJ Schoelles went 5 innings and kept the game within distance for the offense to break out in late innings. The bullpen trio of Ricardo Gonzalez, Wiley Fleck, and Lorent Hoti was lights out and surrendered 0 runs the rest of the game. In game 2, Christian Varela picks up another win on the season with 4 solid innings. Shaw and Bart followed him up with great strike throwing of their own. 2-0 ECC start, the boys look to stay rolling again today with another DH against D’Youville University. Special feature from the boys Sheisty Lamond, Edwin, and AC22. Go Spartans!

Lorent Hoti came in relief and finished the game out with 2 innings of his own. In game 2, Christian Varela picked up the start and went 6 strong innings at only an astounding 54 pitch total. Angelo Bartziokas got the final 3 outs. Spartans are back for 2 more today against Holy Family. Let’s go boys
