Our Athletic Training staff is excited to finally show off our newly refreshed space! Himes has been transformed into a more welcoming, functional, and interactive environment where our student-athletes can feel comfortable while working toward recovery, injury prevention, and performance.

This project was truly a team effort. Our AT staff volunteered their own time this summer to paint, reorganize, and give the space a much-needed facelift. Through relationships built by Demetri, we were also able to add two new treadmills, expanding the equipment available to our student-athletes from Planet Fitness - State College Location (Rogers Demetri Probst Cardio Room has the excess equipment)

And a special thank you to Scott Moore for our Eagle Fat Head that helped bring some Lock Haven pride and personality into the space.

But Himes is about more than new paint and equipment. ❤️

It is a space where student-athletes can receive individualized rehabilitation, spend one-on-one time with our certified athletic trainers and MSAT students, learn about their bodies and recovery, and feel comfortable being part of the rehabilitation process.

We wanted to create a space athletes don’t just have to come to when they’re injured but a place they want to come to, where they can work hard, learn, interact, and feel comfortable being themselves.

A lot of hands, relationships, and volunteer hours helped bring this vision to life, and we’re proud to finally share it.

Welcome to Himes. 💪🦅

This class was CONNECTED unlike any other class as many of these players either played with each other in High School OR decided to become College Teammates💚 See their stories ⬇️🙏

Addy Cherry - @wj_wbb

@adalynncherry was a graduate of Altoona HS where she played with Adaliz Corbin (The Connection) and had one of the MOST CONSISTENT college careers in program history during her time at Washington & Jefferson‼️Between her Sophomore and Senior Seasons, Cherry averaged nearly 10PPG, 5RPG and 3APG, while carrying an ATO over 1:1 and her 3-Ball over 40% in those seasons🔥 Her senior year was SPECIAL as the team finished the year (24-5), PAC Champions allowing Addy to go out in style🏆

Olivia Smith - @lhuwbb

Olivia was a graduate of Juniata Valley HS and played at LHU with Adaliz (The Connection)🙏 During her Junior and Senior years at Lock Haven, Olivia found herself in the starting lineup nearly every game‼️The team went (49-13) during that time period and Olivia played a crucial role on the defense end of the court, leading the team to the PSAC Title Game🏆

Adaliz Corbin - LHU

@adalizcorbin was a graduate of Altoona HS where she played with Addy Cherry (The Connection) & in college she played at LHU with Olivia Smith (More Connection)💚 Adaliz played on some of the BEST LHU teams in history, including a magical (29-4) campaign during her junior year🔥Adaliz was a role player on many of these teams and was efficient while in the game, shooting over 40% from 3-Ball and grabbing 3RPG for the team in her career💪🏻

Molly Wagoner - @upj_wbb

Molly was a graduate of Mifflin County HS where she played in college with Maddie Cecere (The Connection)💚Molly had a GREAT Freshman Year at UPJ where she started in 23 games, averaging 4PPG, 6RPG and 2BLK on a team that went slightly under (.500)🔥While Molly had an EXCELLENT Freshman Year, the rest of her career was plagued by injury, unfortunately, unable to return to her freshman year’s form🙏
