What happens when a man Is betrayed by his childhood friend and under false pretences, confronts his friend to find answers?

Welcome to FURY ROAD. A personal short film project for my graduation at faaam. It has taken an extra year but its finally here. It premiers at on 4th December at The Eye Museum Amsterdam through @filmactorsacademyamsterdam, we cannot wait. Thank you to all those who collaborated, donated and worked on this project we couldn't be more grateful. It

This film Is about one’s plight between rationality and instinct that takes place within a secluded bar a symbol of his lonely battle. This film aims to also demonstrate the potential consequence of one’s actions as a result of the choices made. A consequence determined by which side we allow to win.

I have come to understand something through my experiences in life and that is that we can all relate to the principle of this inner plight. Regardless of what the initial reasons “why” may be. Will rationality or instinct win? it always remains a choice. We are the ones who allow ourselves to overcome or allow it to take over. To be the victor or become the villain.

The circumstances or experiences that have taught me this lesson have been dark on many occasions, but valuable nonetheless. They attain to either ex-partners, particular family members and/or friends and acquaintances although they’re not limited to only people you know. But the principle stays the same. This means that it’s relative to anyone and everyone who has been faced with this decision. Your human instinct or your rationality.

I wanted to make a film of a man going through this struggle and that initially he is not a villain but a victim. But if this unresolved pain lives in him long enough he may just become the villain. The power and strength to overcome lies in your own hands. That again, is a choice. Who do we allow to win, our instincts or rationality?

P.s I don't have everyone's insta, so if you dm me if you see this I'll add your tag. Apologies 🙏🏽

Our take on “Avengement (2019)” - Part I

A @thescottadkins film from 2019, directed and written by @jessevjohnson

After years of assaults on him in prison, convicted felon Cain Burgess escapes for avengement on those responsible. And in this scene avengement is served.

As a challenge, we decided to recreate this impressive fight choreography by @actiondanstyles of @idfight
