Actually made an edit for 1 year of BOOTS!!🫶🏻 I can’t even put into words how much this show means to me. Boots was always there when I needed it, if I had a tough day (which was nearly everyday last year), I would whip my iPad out and edit for hours while Boots played in the background. It was and will always be a safe place for me! I have never loved a show more than I have Boots and I don’t think I ever will. I am grateful for all the friends/moots I have met along the way (even if we don’t text daily or interact much) you all made Boots so much more special. Honestly there are still days where I’m delusional and think “What if we get a surprise announcement of S2!”.. sadly I don’t think that’ll ever happen. Thank you Greg Cope for writing such an amazing book and everyone who brought the amazing tv show to life!!👢THANK YOU BOOTS!!👢semper fi 💛❤️|| #boots #netflix #bootsnetflix #edit #1year @eatgregeat @dominiccolon

Exactly a year ago, on October 9, Netflix gave us BOOTS. 🥹

It seems that only yesterday, together with Cameron and Ray, we crossed the threshold of training camp and realized that there would be no easy walk. This series is not just about military drill. This is a story about finding yourself, about a real friendship that is stronger than steel, and about the courage to be yourself in a world where it was dangerous.

During this year, we reviewed the season five times, learned all the jokes of Sergeant Sullivan and cried liters of tears. Thank you for this hidden gem in our lives.

Who is reconsidering today? Write in the comments what is the strongest moment for you! 🫡💛

We’re coming up on one year since Boots premiered on Netflix. Pics from production in 2024, Rachel Davidson and I had been developing my book Pink Marine as a series for 11 years, Brent Miller & Norman Lear joined us in 2017. To film in New Orleans, where Dale and I met as teenagers and enlisted in the Marine Corps not only meant creating hundreds of jobs for locals but also eating all the food.
Sometimes dreams take a while but dream teams & gumbo help.
