18.
Today, everyone will tell you that you’re an adult. They’ll tell you that you can make your own decisions, buy lotto tickets, and even get a tattoo without my permission.

But today, I get to tell you that even after 18 years, you’re still my baby.

You may get to make a lot of your own decisions now. But I’ll still be here to help you through the tough ones, celebrate the good ones, and love you through them all.

For the last 18 years, I grew with you, and you taught me more than you know. God knew exactly what I needed when He gave me you. My hope for you now is that you always put God first, stay determined, follow your heart, know your potential, and never forget how loved you are.

I am so incredibly proud of what you’ve accomplished, what you’ve overcome, and for who you are in every way.

I’m forever in your corner, your ride or die, and always your biggest fan.

Happy 18th birthday, Bubby ❤️🎂❤️
I love you most. Mom.

Realizing that Liam was less than 24 hours old in this photo, wearing a baseball onesie in a pitching stance 🥰
Guess he knew from day one ❤️⚾️💙
