POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We continue our AoT #WomensHistoryMonth series with an Irish TV & stage actress who became a tech designer, and is changing how we experience infrastructure.

Liana O’Cleirigh, FRSA

What draws me to Liana O’Cleirigh’s work is the reminder that storytelling and technology were never meant to live far apart. Her path from performance into interaction design, immersive technology, and the built environment suggests that the futures we are building do not have to leave wonder behind. Women like Liana widen the meaning of design itself. They show us that imagination is not ornamental to progress. It is what keeps progress connected to people.

Hey lighting/retail/stage designer hive, does anyone know what this display tech is? How it’s produced? Saw it in a clothing store window on 5th Ave downtown today. Me curious!

FINALLY, it's the eve before the election.

I was saying to my team earlier that although it's only been 10 weeks, it feels as though this is all I've ever done! What will I do now with my evenings 😭(I guess look after my kids!)

I am more in love than ever with my friends and family - what a crew we all are! This has been such a rewarding time, I feel so grateful to the people who shared their concerns and stories with us over the past few months..

Just a reminder to everyone who has registered to get out and use your vote tomorrow FRIDAY 7th JUNE! And a reminder to give me your number 1, if you are voting in Ballyfermot, Drimnagh, Chapelizod, Inchicore, Walkinstown or Cherry Orchard!

If I'm elected, I will work for cleaner, safer and more accessible streets
I will advocate for effective and affordable transport across the city
I will make sure that local people are involved in the regeneration of the area.
