Food has always been more than just food to me. It’s culture, memories, family, and a way of bringing people together. I have so much love for Liberia and for the food I grew up knowing and loving. I want people in the diaspora to know that Liberian food deserves a seat at the table too. There’s so much flavor, history, and love behind our food, and I’m really passionate about sharing that with more people.

The Palava Table is a small piece of a much bigger dream. I’m trying to make a name for Liberian food, introduce people to flavors they may have never tried before, and show our culture through every plate I serve. I’m proud to be Liberian, proud of where I come from, and excited to see where this journey takes me. This is bigger than a restaurant for me. It’s love for my country, love for my culture, and most importantly, love for food.

Welcome to The Palava Table.

In true Liberian fashion, we believe in enjoyment AND purpose. 😂 We’re bringing the brunch, the day party, the vibes—and most importantly, real conversations that move the mark forward.

When Liberian women are in the room, supported by our community and connected to one another, magic happens.
