❄️💕The Winter Soirée was an absolute HIT!! 🎄🎉
How fun it was the host all these lovely ladies Saturday night! I’m tremendously blessed to be surrounded by these God honoring women who love the Lord and desire to serve Him fully! This night was abundantly provided for, with 8 (I counted 8!!!) different chilis and soups for the competition where there was three winners 🏆😂🪴 there was a lot of tasty desserts and food and festive drinks like a hot cocoa bar and my grandmothers punch. Special shout out to the ones who helped me decorate and prepare and also the ones who provided food and the ones who came to just add to the fun! 🤩 it was a pleasure to see all the happy smiles and laughter in my hallway and the constant entertainment of encouragement!! This year has been a really big blessing in my life and I hope I was a blessing to others as well. This verse has been running through my mind all year with the blessing of a deeply grounded church body and pastor. A job that I just completed a year in, in an entirely new field of work. An apartment that I can sustain myself comfortably in and beautiful woman who love the Lord that I get to have as friends and hold me accountable in the truth of the Bible. This verse is what I’d like to share from Psalms 23:1-3 ““The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” When we pause to look at the year as a whole. I hope. I deeply hope that through all the ups and downs. All the changes all the trials all the heartbreak and love all the conversations and actions. That Jesus’ name was made known and that He is brightly shown in my day to day walk. I hope you all have a blessed Christmas and remember to think on Christ. Not just the month of December but throughout your life. Because He controls tomorrow, He blesses your breaths and He truly restores your soul and leads you to a place where all you can deeply desire is Him above all else. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼❄️❄️❄️
