Coffee tag ☕️ 📖 🐻 ✨ (I’m drinking a flat white, my headache is finally starting to go away! 🙌🏻) 𖤝 Cappuccino - a book everyone has read but me: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀the TOG series. I am dying to read it and ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I’m trying to get through ACOTAR so I can ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀start it, but since it’s my 1st time reading ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ACOTAR I also don’t want to rush it 😂 𖤝 Latte - a sweet read: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I really enjoyed reading Pride and Prejudice. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀A classic yes, and one I read when I was ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀young, but you absolutely cannot beat Mr. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I’m going to insult you until you fall in love ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀with me Fitzwilliam Darcy. Jane Austen was ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀a real girl’s girl for creating him 😏 𖤝 Mocha - an emotional read: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The Song of Achilles. Another one I read a ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀few years ago, but a story that has stayed ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀with me and will stay with me always. As a ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀huge Greek mythology geek, the way their ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀love story was told was just wonderful. I ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀adore Madeline Miller’s writing and hold ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀this book very close to my heart. The ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀quotes in it????? If you do read this, don’t ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀do what I did and read the final few ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀chapters on a train in public — I ugly cried. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀sorry to those passengers in the same ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀carriage as me. 𖤝 Espresso - a book I struggled to get through: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The Iliad. Are we sensing a theme here? I ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀read the first few chapters (again, years ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ago now) and it’s still unread. I aim to read ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀it (and The Odyssey) one day. 𖤝 Flat white - a book on my tbr: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I have approximately 10 million books on my ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀TBR list so this was hard to choose, but I ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀am determined to start Fourth Wing at ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀some point, I know it’s another huge ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀romantasy series and I love dragons so it’s ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀a no brainer! Thanks for the tag @ciarareadsromance this was really fun to make 💗 I’m going to tag some people to do this, 0 pressure but I’d love to see your posts if you do! 🏷️ #coffeetag #books #booklover #bookstagram #booksandcoffee☕️ #jellycats #bookmarks #bookgirlie #romantasy #greekmyth #classicbooks

Review: The Silent Patient by @alex.michaelides ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Alicia Berenson, a famous painter, killed her husband by shooting him five times in the face & has remained silent ever since. Theo Faber, a psychotherapist, finds his way into the Grove ( a Forensic unit where Alicia was admitted) , determined to treat Alicia & make her speak again. Theo is portrayed as a morally grey character. Throughout the novel, the mystery __ Why did Alicia kill her husband? keeps the suspense alive, and OMG the Twist was exactly where I got hooked 😳. The novel also shows that how our childhood traumas shape our future behaviour and personality. The pace of this thriller is a bit fast, but I don't mind it 😕. HOWEVER, one thing that bothers me was the way the timeline was handled. The past and the present chapters were a bit mixed up, making it feel like the whole story was happening in the present. But then some chapters turned out to be set in the past, which left me slightly confused. The writer should have made it clear. If u are a thriller lover, this one is a good pick!! . .[ Bookstagram, Thriller, The silent Patient, childhood trauma, contemporary novel, Psychological thriller] #thesilentpatient #alexmichaelides #bookstaofpakistan #bookreviewersofinstagram #Reading #booklover #thrillerbooks

I'm 45% through, still waiting for the climax to unfold. Every chapter pulls me straight into the next, I'm loving the slowly unwinding suspense . Hoping to complete it this week as my busy routine keeps slowing me down 😣🤧 .
