Our Blugold Athletes of the Week are Libby Beirne and Jonah Majerus! Libby led the way for the Blugolds in the Navy race! Running with confidence from the front, she put herself in the race to run 23:12. If that tells us anything she’s ready to run even faster! Last year at Augustana, Jonah ran 29:14. This year he came back to run 26:13, crushing his best from last year and running a 49 second PR. His summer of work is showing and he’s ready for championship season! #rollgolds #blugoldxc Our Blugold Athletes of the Week are Libby Beirne and Jonah Majerus! After sitting out last season, Bella came back in full force! She was the number two Blugold across the line, running a new PR of 21:52, crushing her previous best on this course. With this momentum it’s going to be a fun final few weeks of the season! Kyle was the top Blugold finisher for the men’s team, crossing the line in 25:26. This was his first PR since freshman year after returning from a devastating accident.
