A massive, heartfelt thank you to the incredibly thoughtful Libby & Alice, for this utterly enchanting mail delivery! 💌🌸 My day is completely made. Each piece in this package is a work of art. The massive, vibrant wildflower print & envelope is truly breathtaking. I'm obsessed with the stunning, detailed full-sized letter sheet and the darling vintage looking 'Carte Postale' postcard & fun zine to ✍️ in. I can already imagine using all the charming little floral-accented notelets and tags in my next mail art project. Your kindness is so deeply appreciated. This paper collection is so beautiful and sophisticated. 💐 🌹 🏵 🌼 🌺🌻🌷🥀

So, 😊 thank you, thank you, thank you! 🤗🥰

High on a mountainside in South Tyrol, we found the most beautiful herb farm.

Pflegerhof sits at around 800 metres above sea level in St. Oswald, near the Dolomites, surrounded by mountains, meadows and the most incredible scent of herbs. (pflegerhof.com)

The Mulser family converted the farm to organic principles in 1980, long before organic farming became as widespread as it is today. Then, in 1982, Martha Mulser planted their first tiny 100m² field with sage, thyme, peppermint, lemon balm, calendula, valerian and other medicinal herbs. (pflegerhof.com)

More than 40 years later, Pflegerhof is described as South Tyrol’s first and most diverse herb farm. They now cultivate around 20,000m² of herbs and offer more than 500 different local and exotic varieties of young plants, including over 70 types of mint and nearly 50 varieties of sage. (pflegerhof.com)

What I loved most was that it still feels like a family farm. The herbs are grown organically and much of the process, from collecting seeds and raising young plants to harvesting and creating the finished herbal products, happens right here on the farm. (pflegerhof.com)

One of those places that makes you want to wander slowly, smell everything and notice just how beautiful useful plants can be.

Definitely one to save if you’re visiting the Dolomites
