What a special day on the CeCe Rider hosting @carly and @caitlinflemming …two of the internets most wonderful influencers…showing them The Isling, Savannah’s number one coastal urban resort.

Special thanks to my dear friend Bob for hosting us on his boat, and to @commonthreadsav and @libbyburk for the incredible food and wine experience!

This past week I got to spend time with some of the COOLEST people at some of the most beautiful wineries in California, all residing in West Sonoma Coast. Many memories were made, friendships were established, and bottles were crushed.

Swipe to see a few glimpses of what I saw and please do yourself a favor and drink their wines. 🤤

This summer, things look different.
No secrets these days that Walter and I went our separate ways. Much love left and no mean feelings. Seasons simply change.
So I’m slowly settling in to this new season with openness, clarity, intentionality.

HYDRATE. Doggy days. Kitteh love. Bebe naps. Solo bites. Kitty Mac. City Imposter Syndrome. Celebratory lunch (I passed my WSET 3 in December!!). Sister dinners. Hidden Saints. Protection. Moon wane. Evening service. Dinner party. Ladies on the rise. Baby dog always. Accidental truths. Simple pleasures.

Welcome to Summer Season. 🌼🌒💖🫶🫂🌴👙☀️

a wine dinner at @commonthreadsav never disappoints!!

each dish was better than the last but the highlights of the dinner were the sapelo clam ragout and dry aged duck!

wine from @brookswinery 🍷🥂

Highly recommend sitting at the bar and doing the Chef’s tasting menu with wine pairings at Common Thread on a Saturday night. Oysters, beef tartar, Carolina gold rice, local shrimp, hanger steak, apple crisp, and so much more.

To 2 of our oldest, sweetest friends in Savannah, congratulations @libbyburk & @dameroon! Thank you so much for trusting me with your flowers. We love yall so much. & shout out to our friends at @finches.sandwiches for kicking in some extra $$$ for this deconstructed ceremony backdrop of my dreams. What a perfect day it was celebrating our friends.

One of the big things that’s always attracted me to restaurants is that you get to create your own family. Boy howdy did I find and help create a heck of a family @commonthreadsav. Within the restaurant and the community I don’t think I’ve ever felt so at home. Thank you infinitely to every single person who spent time working with us, to everyone who came to eat with us, and to all the incredibly hard working farmers and purveyors. The laughs, the tears, the scrapes cuts and bruises will always stay with me. The amount of failure I was allowed to experience along with the high level of success will forever stay with me. Thank you all so much. Thank you to the city of Savannah also for being such a good home for an emerging restaurant community. Keep pushing y’all. We’ve gotta fight the good fight no matter what! Teeth are cut and I’m headed back to Atlanta, stay tuned for the next chapter. #family #restaurantfamily #savannahgeorgia #push #wedidthat
