Last week, @wordsandpicturesprod premiered Saban in Tuscaloosa. This was a big one for me professionally, and I’m very proud to have helped make it.

When @connorwschell first told me we might make a series about Nick Saban, my immediate response was, “Oh no. I am not working on that.” Then, when it became clear we might actually win the project, this Auburn graduate had to eat crow, send Connor an email and beg to be part of it. Thank you, Connor, for indulging my Auburn dramatics and not holding them against me when I came crawling back.

I’m incredibly proud of what our insanely talented team made. A huge thank you to @gabehonig and @rdinallo for leading the series with such care and ambition; to @ellieshananigans for being my right hand through all of it; and to @libbygeist and @abc0280 for trusting me with this one.

It was especially meaningful to celebrate alongside my dad, the Alabama fan who sent me to Auburn and helped me get started in New York. A true full-circle moment.

And a favorite behind-the-scenes memory: Miss Terry driving @vindanton and me around on her Gator after we spent the entire day at their house on an archival mission.

Saban is now streaming on the ESPN app.

But I’m still Costah Nash’s great-granddaughter, so War Eagle forever.
