I’m building a robot that can rally with a person on a real tennis court. Episode 1: teaching it to find the ball. Color filtering looked easy until it hit a real court. What actually worked was a lot of manual labeling and a lot of benchmark runs. Would you have approached any of this differently? Last week, I had the honor of being included in a discussion and networking experience offering ranging creative professionals advisory and support as they work to establish or continue cultivating their brand presence, courtesy of @somecreativeagency and @prgirlmanifesto.    A young professional came up to me after the conversation and asked what three words I’d offer her and others as reference points while they build: I said, positioning, consistency, and added value.     *Positioning: A bit of a double entendre here, but if I was starting from the ground up, no matter the level, I’d get crystal clear about my professional positioning and what I’m offering that’s an absolute need for my target audience, as well as positioning myself in (many of) the right rooms, not solely tied to my professional industry. Cultural rooms. Other industry rooms. Regional community rooms. Much of the magic of my career has come from so many different sources across the board.  *Consistency: A no-brainer here — creating continuity and frequency in your networking and community-engagement strategy is essential to your progression.   *Added Value: It goes without saying that whether networking up or across, the conversation cannot only surround your individual needs. How can you enter any space, connection, or platform and offer unique value that makes you shine?    As I move into a season of existing in multitudes professionally, rebranding, etc. etc., I’m taking my own advice! One year in Philly down 🤯☑️ I still cannot believe it. I questioned my decision to move here so much my first few months. It truly felt like every single thing that could go wrong in the beginning DID. But God had His hands tightly over me and my life. He gave me the opportunity to reconnect with old friends, meet some of the most amazing new friends, try new things, travel, but most importantly get comfortable in the solitude I have deeply craved for so long. I have learned so much about myself. Mostly that I am TRULY divinely covered, a beautiful person with a wonderful spirit that attracts beautiful things and I can do absolutely anything if I step out on faith. I feel like God’s favorite. Thank you to every single person that made my first year one that I won’t forget! —— I saw this post by the @thehoodhealer recently that truly resonated with my current state of mind/life. Life lately…. | Vote for a super mom (link in bio) I’ve been in need of deep recovery which inconveniently came in the middle of a social media campaign and towards the end of 2 physical activations - a reminder that I am human. Although I fell behind online, I felt deeply connected offline. Slowed down and became more present with my son, Mana, addressed some points of personal growth, tapped in with people who replenish my spirit, served clients & community in energetically cleansing ways, and ultimately took time to reflect on how far I’ve come as I myself have been leaning into my own Blossoming! 🌸 I’m not super - but every day I try to be my best self, and that’s super noble! The idea of being a super mom is exciting and intimidating at the same time, but I know the chance to win $20K would benefit my continued efforts in serving my community and creating powerful art - I think that’s worth a shot! There are a lot of incredible mama’s in the competition of being recognized as 2024s Super Mom & I high key been voting for a lot of yall 😂 but this is me asking for your vote!
