Note to self, take more photos during fall show. We’re approaching the final day of this spring season at @zapphall, and I’m truly in disbelief how quickly it’s gone.

We’ve hit every season possible—low 40’s to what feels like 100+.

I’ve consumed more calories in lemonade than I could ever possibly count 🍋

There’s been countless introductions with clients, followers, vintage lovers and newcomers to Warrenton alike—I value every single one of these interactions, regardless if you were in my booth for 10 seconds or 10 minutes.

We all have a refreshed arsenal of vendor friends to rely on to continue building, growing and supporting our businesses.

Thank you for giving me the space to share my knowledge about hand bags and natural fibers and designers, and for the grace to figure this out as I go. Every single day has been a different pace—learning to lean into that was a challenge that took me time.

There’s one more day to peruse all this show has to offer, join us in the sunshine tomorrow 3/28 from 10-6p!

Admittedly—I was underprepared for this show. I knew going into it that I wanted to focus on shoes and handbags this season, and while I pulled that part off, getting all the other bits organized was a different story.

Many late nights the week before the show. Many moments of self-doubt.

MANY moments worrying/wondering/crying about how in the world I would pull this one off.

One mantra I continue to play in my head is, if you could do better, you would have.” Meaning: had I had more time between school holidays, had the flu bug not gotten us for 1+ week, had I not thrown in a weekend of family travel—yes, maybe this show would have come together smoother, sooner.

But then again, maybe not?

Maybe no matter HOW much I planned ahead, or sourced well ahead of time—there is still no saying how prep would have panned out.

The week before show, Houston weather was absolutely perfect. High 60’s and not a cloud in the sky.

Come show time, a polar vortex came down the pipeline, dropping temps a whopping 30* overnight. Unfortunately the BH team was forced to make the tough decision of closing one full day early—an area-wide decision that limited every single vendor involved.

A full day of set up, a full day of sales, out the window like that. For the safety of both businesses and shoppers, still a huge hit nonetheless.

All in all, I sit here in reflection of my “numbers” for the show. Even without a proper Sunday, y’all came out and SHOWED UP for this season.

If I could have done better, I would have. My numbers this year did not beat those of 2025, however last year was an entirely different environment to be in.

I remind myself it’s not about comparison or self-competition—it’s about learning, adapting, and reminding yourself of all the hard work put in. Overall, this year’s experience was nothing short of extraordinary (weather or not). To have held this booth on my own, completely transformed inventory from last season to now—to have completely upgraded the barn interior.

If I cold have done better, I would have. But this season was pretty exceptional to me ❄️🪩💙
