Jenn is Sonic Reducer’s #1 nu-metal fan and (probably) only KEXP DJ to have ever given out Slipknot tickets. Congrats to Graham, Fonda, and Marcella for winning tickets to that Golden Gate Park show next year. Next week, Sonic Reducer’s #1 @riseagainst fan West will be giving away 3 pairs of tickets. Missed the show airing live? Check it out in the show archives at KEXP.org or the Apps.

🤯 Honoured to see @licklash_ alongside some of the country’s best on this beautiful @reclinkcommunitycup compilation LP thanks to @northside_records 🪩

Limited to just 300 copies in transluscent green, pressed by @zenithrecords & available on the @reclinkau online shop for collection at this year’s cup. Feeling very lucky to score a couple of these extra special artist-only gold editions!

Massive thanks to Chris Gill, Laura Christoforidis & everyone involved in making it happen. This is so special ❣️

IWD26 Shauna Boyle, she/her

Musician (Cable Ties, Leatherman, LickLash)

Have been described as “Rock Dog” on many occasions - and I don’t even play footy.

‘IWD to me firstly is a day of recognition, for so many who in the past have had their histories erased. It’s a day in which voices of women, trans and non-binary people can be amplified, a day which we can all educate ourselves on the issues that are still ever present.

IWD pushes to highlight little-known history, to have present issues addressed and to ensure all our futures will be better. It also gives all people a chance to feel joy, pride and accomplishment for our collective achievements. To celebrate the art, culture, sport and science of everyday women. It’s a day to reflect and feel proud of ourselves, as well as to honour the incredible women around us.’ @iwannabeyourmod @leathermanridesfree @licklash_ @cable.ties

The IWD26 series by Suzanne Phoenix is on exhibition at @qvwc_melbourne from 4 March to 15 April. The portraits are available as limited edition photographic portraits. The limited edition book features artwork by @showpony_____ and designed by @wuthipol.designs and all are available through www.suzannephoenix.com along with tea towels. Portraits pasted up in Hosier Lane on IWD, check them out while they last. Photo by @gigpigsnaarm

The series is sponsored by @splatterscheesebar and @smlxlprint along with 40+other legends, see the final slide.

This year was a blast for idiotape, with no less than 26 cassette releases and 1 vinyl release! We’ve also got new merch available on @distrovillemerch (hats and T-shirts) - thanks Pierre for featuring us on your site! We were also part of Tracks EGG Punk Par ARte (thanks @claragriot for the opportunity!) and had an article on the Tape Report Bandcamp in August.

After 3 years going solo, it’s time to grow a bit! We’re heading to Australia in January, and Hugo (@radiolombre /L’Ancetre) will be joining the label to handle the French side of things. A new entity, IDIOTAPE AUSTRALIA, will be launched in the coming months, with the same recipe of punk garage releases on cassette.

Huge thanks to all the artists for the cassette releases, to everyone who’s contributed to the label, and to HOON for everything! Love you! And massive thanks to the Chinois team for their support!

Huge thanks to our talented artists, everyone who’s supported the label, and especially to HOON for being an integral part of our journey. And a massive thank you to the Chinois (@howlinbananarecords @tom.2de @laffitteremi ) team for their unwavering support!
