2025 has been a big year for me in many ways, but the biggest thing by far was travelling back to Vancouver for the first time since I left 13 years ago, to visit a bunch of beautiful people I’m blessed to call my family. 🧡

It was three weeks of fill my cup energy and exactly what my soul needed after so long of not seeing this crew, and to pick up where we left off and it feel like that no time had passed, is proof to me how special these connections really are. ☺️

Just a quick recap of a time well spent and one I’ll hold near to my heart for years to come. Love you guys 🫶🏼

Two weeks in from the record release Organically Grown! and we’re feeling the love y’all. Thanks to everybody that was involved and everybody that helped out and everybody that has supported us since we released this project. It’s been very very uplifting.. get at us for the vinyl. Otherwise hit up the band camp if y’all wanna get that record. And of course Definitely check tha album out on all streaming platforms.. 🫡🫡🫡 - basement bastards.

My last days in Van city 🇨🇦😢

Can’t believe this time last week I was on a ✈️ home, but not before cramming in more special moments with some special people (and fur babies). 🐾

The last of the gems? 💎

🐶 Lots of couch cuddles and kisses (and face licks as he wiped my tears!) with my big boy nephew, Ez. 😭

🍣 Late night sushi family dinner with @jodiy_meadows and @gcarlosgcarlos yep, this was even a late feed for Gaz and I, but suuuuper late for Jody who loves the early bird special. 🤪

🍮 Delicious desserts and last night catch ups with @lientnphan @ekimgram and Parker. 🫶🏼🐕

🍒 Popping @ili_franco 🫎 cherry, and my last visit (for now) to my favourite bar on the planet. 🌎🤘🏼

👯‍♀️ Last ladies lunch (for now!) with @prismarielam @ili_franco and Miss Isla. 😢

☕️ Farewell morning coffees with the beautiful @dellalli last hot wings and margaritas with my dear friend (and airport shuttle @flashyashi and a last minute airport catch up with my favourite bar chick @caramickey 🧡

Cup is overflowing with love and gratitude after such an amazing trip to my ol’ home away from home, visiting my Canadian friends and family.

Despite the travel ordeals to and from Vancouver (legging it through Brissy airport to catch my flight to start, an airline strike, and flying home without my luggage to finish 😳), I got out of this trip exactly what I’d set out to… spending quality time with people I love.

Thank you for taking care of your Aussie, and for reminding me how blessed I am to have you all in my life. And, as @ili_franco said when she left me, “This is not goodbye forever, it’s a see you later”—although, I do see a trip to 🇦🇺 on the horizon for ALL of you 🤣.

Love and miss you all so much already xx ❤️

Van city… Week 1: Part 2. 🇨🇦

So, started my first week in Van pretty much eating and drinking my way through the city (let’s be real… unlikely to change anytime soon), but later this week I took a long ass hike down memory lane, all over downtown, visiting my old workplace, my old apartment buildings (more on that to come), and spending some quality time at my favourite watering hole @themoosevancouver

Highlights… ✨

💄 Dinner with the Bobbi girls at @comotaperia
🍝 Lunch with @ekimgram at @mercatodiluigi
🚶🏻‍♂️Running into an old workmate @mackyvr just randomly on the street
🫶🏼 Meeting and hanging with the lovely @lientnphan
🍻 Farewell beers and my first wings of the trip with @tinabisson and Lenny
🤘🏼 Spending the arvo perched at my favourite bar while waiting for one of my faves @flashyashi
🍷 A beautiful solo lunch @maxines_cafebar

One week down, a little under two weeks to go, and I plan on cramming in as much food, drink, adventure, love, laughter, fun, and quality time with some pretty fkn beautiful people as I can! 🧡🍁
