Patsy’s Rats - ‘Rock and Roll Friend’ (Official Music Video)

Producers: Patsy Gelb, Christian Blunda, Jeff Rowles

Director: Jeff Rowles

Director of Photography: Jay Winebrenner

Editors: Jeff Rowles, Patsy Gelb, Christian Blunda

“The song was written as a tribute to our dear departed friend, Mikey Hodges of Pop Zeus. He was a true believer in living free and staying wild in the spirit of rock & roll. The video is a moment in time, an afternoon road tripping through Oregon in honor of friendship, freedom, rock & roll, and Mikey himself. Director Jeff Rowles followed us in his Vanagon and we had a damn good time doing it. We hope that Mikey would like the song and that it can do its part to immortalize his spirit, though he’ll live on forever through the music of Pop Zeus.”

What an epic night! Eternal thanks to the musicians, true gems, the greatest musical mates, for another New Year's Eve of inspiring playing, dancing, friendship - all the good stuff! We raised $1,345 for the ACLU, channeled the rebel spirit of our musical heroes, rung in the new year together, together the best way.

A special shout-out to my 50's and 60's bandmates, AMAZING times practicing and performing with you superstars. Appreciate everyone who came to the show, ready, with good vibes and their own rebel spirit. We all absolutely needed that! Thanks again to the @mississippistudios staff for putting up with our shenanigans. Lotsa love and raised fists in the new year, Janet
