🎶 A beautiful “Blessing” to close out Homecoming Weekend 2026!

Francis Pavilion was filled with music, sunlight, and familiar faces Sunday afternoon as the BC Chamber Singers, BC Concert Choir, and returning Alumni Chorus joined voices for a special fall concert centered on the theme of “Blessing.”

One standout moment came during “Imaginary Creatures” by Andrea Ramsey, when the Chamber Singers read and performed a collection of poems written by young children, bringing their imagination and creativity to life through music. The program also spanned musical genres, from the Baroque gem “Beatus Vir” to a newly arranged spiritual to “Wana Baraka,” a joyful Kenyan folk hymn. 🎼

The concert concluded with “The Lord Bless You and Keep You,” a heartfelt musical offering from our singers to the audience and a fitting end to a weekend of reconnection and celebration. 🌟

We are grateful to our music alumni for returning to campus and sharing the stage with current students, continuing the traditions and connections that make the Brevard College community so special. 💙

🎓 What does life look like after graduation from Brevard College? On Friday, alumni returned to campus to share their answers with the next generation of Tornados. 🌪️

Brevard Career Advantage and the Brevard College Alumni Association welcomed alums back to campus to share their career journeys with current students to kick off Homecoming Weekend 2026. Visiting alumni offered insight into how their time at BC helped shape their professional paths and lives. With at least 120 students in attendance, the Academic Quad was buzzing with conversation, connections and networking.

One important takeaway? You don’t have to know exactly where you’re headed to find your way. Alumni shared how their paths often took unexpected turns, demonstrating how a Brevard College education helps students develop the skills, self-awareness and sense of purpose to navigate life after graduation.

Thank you to BC alumni for sharing their experiences and helping current students imagine what’s possible in the future! 💙🌪️
